"Limited parking with great valet service. Upon entering reception you are greeted by friendly staff who swiftly process your check in and offer helpful suggestions for dining and sightseeing. Staff also have a great knowledge of the public transport network in the area and help guid you on where to get the bus. Swimming pool was nice and clean, and fairly quiet even with a few kids in it during the late afternoon. There is also a sauna and steam room available for use. The room we had was clean, big, and already cooled down for us. Bedding was clean and fresh, and so were the towels. There is adequate cupboard space with plenty of hanging, but the smaller cupboards were too high for daily use. Only thing was that there was not enough shelving in the bathroom for putting toilettries. There was just enough space by the sink for our toothbrushes. The toilet was a little too close to the corner wall and the shower, which allowed for a bigger open space when entering the bathroom. Both the kitchen and the bathroom had very large windows. There was no extractor fan in the bathroom so you have to open the window to let the steam out. Problem with that was that it allowed for mosquitos to get in and bite us :-( The rooftop terrace was lovely as well. I recommend grabbing a couple of beers from reception and heading up there whilst the wife gets ready for evening dinner! I didn't get a chance to use the rooftop jacuzzi but that would have been nice if kids weren't with us."

"Such a lovely property! The grounds are beautiful and having a pool to use after a hot day of walking around is wonderful. We found our dinner in the restaurant to be excellent! Good breakfast buffet! The only slight downside is if you want to go into Florence every day, while they do offer a shuttle, it stops quite a walk from the centre of town and the schedule isn’t always convenient so we needed up taking taxis a lot which added up financially. Still worth the area and the hotel but be aware of location. We loved it!"
