Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
We were a little disappointed with the accommodation. We had booked a family suite but it was actual 2 separate rooms with a hallway between them. The hallway was part of the reception, which one of our rooms were directly behind, so it was a bit noisy at times. Each room had its own bathroom which was great but the shower in one room was very small, as in standing normally my elbows touched the tiled wall and the glass wall. Our room's door wouldn't stay closed unless locked.
The roof top was amazing with an incredible view of the pyramids.
The staff spoke very limited English and in fact had to call someone from another hotel to help us at check in. They organised a tour to the Pyramids and to the Egyptian Museum, with a driver for the day. That was very helpful.
The worst part was the location. Old Giza is a very poor area. There were at least half a dozen stray mangy dogs wandering around the streets, there was rubbish everywhere on the streets and the location itself felt very unsafe. My husband and I ended up splitting between the rooms so that one of us was with each of our kids. Despite the great staff and close location to the Pyramids I would not stay here again just because of the location.
The place itself is okeyish, the one girl at the reception was super friendly and the young guy as well, but the whole place it just smell soooo bad the whole time, the bathroom always had a poop smell , outside the hotel is dirty, messy, smell like camel poop, don’t recomed the area , we counnd even use our balcony because we got cat called all the time for the people wslinkg by, super uncomfortable, also the charging services for transportation were 7x higher than uber confort for a regular car and service. So I don’t recomend hire their services.
La mia stanza era spettacolare...con balcone e vista su piramidi.letti comodissimi e una colazione super..situato a Giza a due passi dalle piramidi appunto.. .personale eccezionale e disponibile.per me è stato il top!grazie
