The views from the rooftop are amazing. The host and his family are top-notch and super hospitable. Now, for those looking for a hotel with room service, this is not the place for you. But if you are here for the Pyramids and want a great local who is well respected in the area and will be kind to you, this is the spot. Loved my stay.

Great value in Giza
A great value stay near to the pyramids. The view is magnificent especially at night when the light-show is taking place. The staff are very friendly and want to do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. They booked private drivers for us at a reasonable rate. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good.

This hotel could not be in a better location. Right next to the pyramids. The view from the rooftop restaurant is breathtaking. The staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast is great. We found that we were full for the day with the amount given. The room was a little small but probably because there were 2 double beds in there. It was great to have the fridge and balcony. Definitely would have been nice to have a couple of chairs on the balcony. We did have a tv but could not get it to work.

We absolutely loved staying at this property which has a magnificent view of the pyramids. This is your basic accommodation with no frills but it was clean and safe.The owner Hussein was hands-on, and always available and made sure we had everything we needed. He arranged airport pick up, tours, transportation, meals and shopping at a very reasonable price. Mohamed and Hager were also excellent. All the staff greeted you with a smile and a cold bottle of water, which is welcome in this hot climate. I will highly recommend this place.

Never felt more at home than here.
Never have I have felt more at home and taken care of than at this hotel. Mohamed and Hussein (brothers) know anyone you need to around Giza for tours, food, anything, even a dinner or overnight cruise if you need. They have saved me literally hundreds of dollars while I have been here. Absolutely coming back.

Nice hotel by the pyramids
The room was nice and clean, and was well equipped with a kettle and tea/coffee and a portable heater (A/C was only for cooling). I checked in late and hadn't had dinner. A big meal was brought to the room, the remains of which the staff graciously warmed up for me the next day. The view from the roof is nice, and breakfast was good too.

Overall if you are using this property to sleep and eat breakfast, then this is the place! The staff was really friends and helpful! They can assist in booking excursions, rides, or exchange money for you. Breakfast was the same each day, so maybe a little more options would be nice moving forward. The area around the hotel is dirty, but no fault of the hotel. Just be mindful that the taxi drivers will not drive to the front of the hotel, so you will have to hoof it in the sand a little bit. Lastly, this hotel was built without an elevator, so there will be stairs.

Hussein & Rambo were amazing hosts! Rambo was pretty much me & my mother’s escort during our trip & Hussein booked all of our tours. The property is right across the street from the pyramids & sphinx (walking distance)! There are all kinds of stores up & down the strip to browse on your own, but Rambo will take you to a select few. Breakfast each morning was boiled eggs, bread, cheese & sometimes falafel (yuuuum). There’s an AC unit in your room. With the good comes the bad: the property is down an alley so if you’re going outside by yourself be mindful (I didn’t feel scared like someone would do something, I just kept my head on a swivel as you would anywhere else walking down an alley to get to the main street). It stinks outside, like really really bad. Camel poop, horse poop, dog poop, cat poop is EVERYWHERE! Stray cats & dogs are everywhere. The property doesn’t have an elevator so good luck getting the room on the 4th floor or going to the roof for the views/ breakfast. There’s no English speaking channels or subtitles so maybe they could invest in just 1 channel or Netflix/Hulu. The rooms are your basic motel 6 type vibe: leftover soap in the bathroom from the previous guests, gnats flying around, & don’t forget to bring shower shoes becauuuuse yeah. There’s def hot water though so hi5 to that! Overall, I’m a no muss no fuss type of traveler & im interested in spending my money on excursions/ food vs my accommodations. So if that’s you as well here is the place to be.

Hussein and his family and staff was very hospitable. The property was in close rooftop view of the pyramids. Our room was clean and we even enjoyed the romantic lighting. We also took advantage of breakfast every day. Hussein also kept us safe by telling us where and where not to eat. My husband became close friends with Hussein and his family. We are looking forward to returning for another visit.

I arranged airport transfers with the owner Hussain on the day of pick up and drop off. This was very convenient for me. The staff are friendly, location is close to the pyramids (amazing view from the balcony) and the owner can arrange tours (both to the pyramids and city) when you get there at very reasonable price. I plan to go there again and stay here due to the same, Thanks!

Wonderful Experience
I cannot begin to express how happy I was at Royal Pyramid Hotel. Hussein and his brothers Mohammed and Boudhi took such excellent care of me. The room was clean, comfortable and powerful a/c. The bathroom also was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was simple yet satisfying and the rooftop provided a perfect view of the pyramids. Hussein made sure i got the best offer on taxi and he made sure to arrange drivers that could speak English. At nights they would sit with me on the roof and talk and were willing to get anything I needed outside. I would recommend this place without ANY reservation to anyone who wants to be near the pyramids in a homely environment. What the area lacked , was made up for by the hospitality shown. I am definitely going back and I am staying nowhere else but Royal Pyramid. Thank you Hussein!!!!!

Great customer service! Clean hotel with comfy beds and and a hot shower with good good water pressure. The breakfast is also very good. Very nice view of the pyramids from the rooftop! I would recommend.

Great place to see the light and sound show.
The people that run the hotel are the best. They can arrange any trip in the area and specialize in the pyramid zone. Be prepared for some of the most intense local harrasement in the neighborhood and around the entrance to the pyramids. It’s not related to the hotel except you’ll need to walk th gauntlet to and from the hotel for any pick up.

An amazing hotel next to the pyramids. You can enjoy the lights in the evening but the most impressive is the hotel staff they are so friendly and helpful. Everything from the airport transfer to the excursions were just perfect. Will definitely go back!

A great place to stay for a night to see the pyramids. We could see the light show from the roof. The owner is very happy to arrange airport pick up and delivery for $20. We could buy a delicious chicken dinner and have it delivered to our room and the included breakfast was nice. He was also able to arrange a tour of other pyramids outside of Giza. Fabulous hospitality.

Awesome stay and view of the pyramids!
I was in Giza for two days and Royal Pyramids seemed like a home away from home. I was greeted with a nicely made clean room along with tea and a boiling jug. The ac worked fine and cooled very quickly. I was given a bigger room for the first night because i booked seperately but they let me have that room for the rest of my trip. Muhammad, Hussain’s nephew took great care of me and took me and two other guests horse riding in the desert which was great fun. He would also assist me to the exchange or the local hookah cafe for tea and hookah. It was nice to have a friend especially when you are travelling solo. Hussain, the owner arranged a taxi to the airport within hours of telling him and the breakfast provided every morning was plentiful and good. I even was treated to a free dinner of koshari the second night. Highly recommend this place!

I stayed at Royal Pyramids Inn for three days with the intention of spending four days in Cairo. I cancelled that plan and stayed the remainder of my adventure at the Royal Pyramids Inn. This is a fantastic place to stay. Hussein is an amazing host. His family, who help with the inn are hardworking and delightful. Hussein set me up with an amazing Egyptologist guide, Ehab Elkomaty who showed me amazing ancient sites. Hussein is very kind and showed me what hospitality is. I will be returning to Egypt and will only stay at the Royal Pyramids Inn.

Very highly recommended the Royal Pyramids Inn
I love this hotel. I will only stay here in the future, and I do plan on returning to Egypt. Hussein is an amazing host!!!!! I have never experienced such warmth and kindness. His family helps out and they are amazing. I have never experienced such hospitality. Hussein can set you up with a righteous guide, Ehab Elkomaty, an Egyptologist, who can take you to the most wonderful sites of Egypt. I very highly recommended the Royal Pyramids Inn.

If you are looking for a beautiful view of the Pyramids, this is the place to stay. Not only will you have a great view but also you will sleep well in a clean and comfortable room. The management of this hotel is definitely above average. The guest here are welcomed and are truly cared about. The diversity of guest here speaks well for itself. Thanks to Mr.Hassan and everyone else, for running such a wonderful place.

The hotel was located across the street from the pyramids and the Sphinx! The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel staff made sure I felt at home. Hussein was able to organize a camel trip to the pyramids for a great price and Mohammed was kind enough to accompany me when I went shopping so he could help me with translating. Additionally, the roof is an incredible place to see the sound and light show. I was so happy with my stay here, I can’t wait to come back!

Firstly, this is the best place and hotel to stay in Giza. You will have the best view of the Pyramids, definitely everyone needs to stay here. The first day that we arrived at the Hotel, Hassein Family helped us to our luggage. We didn’t load the luggage. As soon as we pass the entrance, they were waiting us with Apple Juice and a very cool bottle of water, it was incredible due to the weather was very hot. The family helped us with the Nile’s Tour and another tour, they have the best prices. If you want to complete a tour, please first ask to Hassien, there is a 50% difference in process offer by him vs the pricess of regular company. Additionally, they offer us the transportation service from Hotel – Airport, this really help due you are save and the price is very good. During our stay in Royal Pyramids, hotel stay was very friendly, they were very kind person. Every single time they asked us if we are Ok, if we need something else, if the service was INCREDIBLE. . Additionally they bought us multiple desserts and juices in order to try the Egypt food. They walked with us into the city to find the best process and souvenirs, as the travels know, you can’t find this kind of help around the world. If we compare the price vs the hotel quality and service, the price is very cheap. We would recommend this hotel 10000 times. If we come back to Egypt, we definitely choose this place again. We don’t have words to describe how the family and staff make us to feel, we felt as a

The hotel was beautiful and located right across the gate to enter the pyramids! The hotel staff was kind enough to set me up with a camel tour or the pyramids and the Sphinx! I was also fortunate to have the hotel send me with someone when I went out shopping and to restaurants - there are many vendors in Giza and it can get overwhelming if you’re alone. The rooftop is a perfect place to see the sound and light show at night and the hotel can also have dinner delivered to you at the roof or in your room so you don’t miss the show!
