"The host was wonderful and welcoming. So many helpful tips about what to see, where to go, what not to miss. Don’t forget to avail yourself of his unique pulley system for your luggage. A lot easier than lugging up several flights of a spiral staircase. The gentleman we interacted with (owner) is so proud of his city, his B&B, and his COFFEE! He’s an expert at all three. I’ll miss awakening each morning without the latter. A delightful place and host. "

"Casa Manzella was a nice B&B conveniently located right down the street from the main square. The town square is lovely with lots of restaurants and shops. The B&B was very comfortable, clean and breakfast was good with fresh croissants, fruit, yogurt, cheese and salami and pastries. The owner and staff was very nice. The only issue for us was no elevator in the building to bring bags down when we had to leave at 7am. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. "

"Excellent location, with a balcony right on the square overlooking a church. Right in the centre of this lovely village and a short stroll to the seafront. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We didn't get to have breakfast on the rooftop terrace, we were told that's only open in the summer."

"Excellent hotel like bed and breakfast near airport. Rooms were newly decorated and very clean. The staff prepared an amazing breakfast and had an airport shuttle available for transportation."

"The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel was in a good location, just a short walk to the center of town and close to the airport. However, the street outside was quite noisy. Also, I was surprised that there were no toiletries provided - not even a bar of soap for the shower."

"The biggest issue you may have with this B&B is trying to schedule your arrival, because you will need someone to let you in. (Second place is finding a way to move around Sicily which lets you arrive on time.) However, once you get there, you'll find a perfectly good place to sleep and recover from hiking around Trapani and Erice for hours on end. The room is clean, the bed is better than it has any right to be, and the bathroom beats out at least one supposed three-star hotel. Location is...

"The resort is beautiful, it’s secluded and private. The pool has a pretty view and there is bar service while you enjoy. The staff is incredible; we were there the night of the wildfire. We didn’t have our own car so The staff drove us down the mountain to safety. They are an excellent team and unbelievably accommodating and kind. "

"Fillipo was an excellent host. The included breakfast, which included several of his own personal pastries, was delicious. The room was comfortable and the town of Terrasini was very cute. Fillipo was very helpful with parking rental car and was kind enough to give me his personal parking place "

"A quiet property in a quaint town very close to the airport but far enough away you never hear airport noise. It is very safe and clean property with restaurant options within a short walk and easy free street parking outside. I would definitely stay here again. The upstairs suite has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom plus a large terrace with a pool that would be a perfect retreat on a hot day. It’s a great location as a home base for sites in the area or before or after a flight. "

"Room was very nice service was good but Erice can be a little difficult to get to from Trapani. It was not as easy as I had believe from my research particularly during times when the lift is not operating. There are only a handful of buses that run from the plaza adjacent to the train station. Outside of that a taxi is about 35 Euros."

"This property is noisy from other guest and the poor sound proofing. Every night and all night, you can hear people coming and going, slamming doors, and a weird banging in the wall. Additionally, the internet was pretty bad and only worked (slowly) some of the time. For the amount we spent to stay here, I was really offended when they tried to get €100 out of me for a late checkout by two hours! They even admitted they didn’t have any guests booked so it would be an issue — pure greed....

"Loved the feel of Azzoli apartments, interesting design, comfortable rooms and particularly fond of the roof terrace for breakfast each day and a place to relax of an afternoon or evening as an escape from the heat at street level. It’s also in a terrific location - 5 mins to the port for island ferries, a nearby beach, great food options and shops. Really enjoyed our stay a happy to recommend it. "
