"Everything about this hotel is perfection! From the minute we arrived until the minute we left the service was impeccable and friendly. We stayed for five nights and explored other areas of Malaga, but spent a little time at the hotel pool which is very relaxing and beautifully designed. Highly recommend!"

"The Parador has a spectacular view from where it sits on top of the hill overlooking the city. The views from the dining room & front veranda area are gorgeous & the view of the city from our balcony was lovely too. We could walk down the hill from the parador walking past the castle and Alcazaba directly into the center of the old town. I would definitely stay there again. The staff was very helpful and friendly & one of the front desk even arranged snacks for us early in the morning to take on our hike to the Caminito del Rey because we would be missing breakfast. And we really enjoyed the rooftop pool which had an amazing view as well!"

"The propery is located right by the beaach with a great pool for adults and kids. It was quiet, and offer some amenities during the day. The daily breakfast was very good, and the new chiringuito bar by the beach is great for a quick lunch or drink. "

"The hotel was similar to a boutique hotel The 2 star rating was a surprise but the only facilities are the roof terrace pool which was great but lacked shade ( no umbrellas available) The hotel does not offer food but there is a cafe on the ground floor integrated with direct access from the hotel The cafe opens very early and is busy and quite noisy and we were directly above it so we asked to be moved and this was done with no fuss however if the hotel were to be full I guess we would have had to stay in the allocated room The cafe does sell limited food items such as sandwiches and toast/pastries and alcoholic beverages but closes at 1.30pm every day The hotel rooms are basic but spacious with good air con and we were impressed with the cleanliness and akin to a 5 star hotel The staff could always be seen cleaning the hallways and corridors The staff were always friendly and attentive We bought wine for the room and bottle openers are available ( supermarket across the road very convenient) There is a shower room which allows you to freshen up in the afternoon if you have a late departure home and luggage is kept secure for an early arrival or late departure We hired a car and the parking was free in a car park which is a short walk away Excellent value for money on a room only basis and we will certainly return again "

"If you want seclusion away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place. Away from the main road, but with access to great lookouts and hiking paths! The property is a bit old but the staff care for it how they can. Expect waning luxury, but clean and livable rooms. It gets cold in the winter so bring some fluffy PJs. Staff is helpful and pleasant. Sometimes the jabalí show up--one was there during dinner. "
