"Excellent service, helpful staff, clean and modern rooms."

"Stunning communal spaces, stairs and bar. That staff are very courteous and helpful. You can even rent an umbrella. There is parking and it’s at the reduced rate of £22 if you pay at reception (£40 outside) Our room was a superior king but faced the station. BE AWARE that rear facing rooms get to hear the trains idle at the station for 15-30 mins at a time despite double glazing. A tip would be to master the air con before bedtime as it’s tricky to use (until you know how) and the rooms get quite warm without it."

"First time I have stayed in a hotel on my own & I felt totally safe. It's a lovely little place. Room was modern & clean. It is pet friendly so i had my 2 dogs with me. Parking is great as it is right outside the room. Breakfast area is nice, plenty of choice, even has a cooked vegan option. Staff are helpful & friendly. I will definitely return."

"The Lodge was nice and clean and tidy and spacious, we loved the hot tub! In General a nice place, could do with a few maintenance updates, one of the single Divans have seen better days, the Shower in the Ensuite doesn't get very warm. All in all, its a very cosy lodge with some great added features a little bit of maintenace fixing this would then be an amazing break"
