"Nice location in the old town of Ragusa which is where you want to be - so could walk to all the highlights easily from here. The rooms are split out onto several floors so be prepared for lots of step. The room was nice but very dark so was happy there was access to a beautiful garden where you could sit and enjoy a drink. There was free parking and plenty of spaces at the top of the hill so dump the luggage at the entrance and then keep driving up."

"From the moment we arrived Morgan was there to help us, explained where to park, helped with our bags and showed us around when we arrived. The attention to detail in the decor was second to none. Another guest had a cold, I assume, and we listened to him blow his nose (or honk it) vigorously for hours. Same with toilet flushing, teeth brushing and shaving. We could hear it all. "The hotel owner, Guiliana was wonderful. She could not do enough to help us. The venue was in a very quiet and peaceful area and the facilities were clean and comfy and decorated with incredible Italian style. The food was simple but amazing and we had dinner at the sister Agritourism hotel which was an excellent meal. Would definitely return! "

"A winding, narrow road: welcome to Ragusa. Although the room was off a main road the small markings made us second guess whether we were actually there or not. We were greeted by a very nice lady who checks you in, puts out the breakfast, and cleans the rooms. Up a flight of narrow stairs was our room and one other. "This property you never see a host - they message you, it gives it a strange sterile feel and you wonder who the other people staying are. As a single man I found it a bit odd and I could imagine as a woman I would have felt unsafe. The area is the middle of nowhere - no appeal except not being far from other places of interest. Breakfast was very weak - just some processed foods in plastic packaging. Overall rather depressing and uninspiring."

"Fantastic staff, starting with the super Cinzia and the amazing Daniele, the resort’s master chef. Our only regret is we couldn’t stay longer and experience Saturday pizza night. "We rented a car and drove from Siracusa, with stops in surprisingly beautiful Noto and historic Modica before arriving in Ragusa, one of the most beautifully situated cities anywhere! I chose the Itria Palace due to it's location and with our having a car, parking was an issue. Right next to the hotel is a free public parking lot with plenty of spaces. And, there is a ramp to the hotel's lower entrance. We were housed in the hotel's annex located across the street, which is lovely, the rooms are bright, clean and nicely appointed. Our rooms had incredible views of the main hotel and the Ibla valley and old buildings hanging off the walls of the city. The staff were excellent and the breakfast buffet was beautifully presented in the star-vaulted rooms on a lower floor. Delicious array of breakfast items. My only complaint is that we only stayed for one night, the hotel would make and excellent place to stay for several nights to explore the region. That being our problem, not the hotel! Very highly recommended. "
