"Room was queen, staff was nice, breakfast and supper at the restaurant we're good however they close the restaurant for supper and it's just hoping for breakfast for the next couple of weeks as they're shutting that restaurant down for the season. Location is right in town so access to everything was quite convenient."

"We had a fantastic stay. We ate supper and breakfast in the restaurant and it was delicious. The wait staff were very nice as well. We were greeted at the front desk and all staff were very friendly and helpful. The view of prince of wales was very nice to wake up too."

"We were surprised how much the quirkiness of this property stole our hearts. It was such a fun experience. It is an older property. So yes, some of its polish and pristine has worn over the years, but those qualities came to endear us over the course of our stay. We would stay again in a heartbeat!"

"This place was spotless, the morning breakfast was spotless, there were a variety of yogurt flavours, bread slices, two varieties of bagels, cream cheese/butter, the coffee was really good (!) and apple juice, orange juice, hot water for tea, milk for the fruit loops and what looked like Vector cereal. I highly recommend this place and will return to it next time we are there. We had a service dog with us and there was no fee for our officially lic'd service dog. Location was very convenient as well. Staff was very helpful and friendly."

"Great staff. We were upgraded to a different part of the property, the other side of the property was having internet problems. The room was a suite: comfy bed, jetted tub, kitchen/sitting room area, very nice. Small town and location was central to restaurants. Thank you!"

"The historic hotel was unique and beautiful! It was situated atop a hill that overlooked Upper Waterton Lake and Waterton/Glacier National Parks. The view from the lobby was magnificent. There was both a lounge and formal dining room (the dining room required reservations). The dining hall food was good, but limited. There was a coffee/gift shop in the hotel, which were very convenient for the guests. The staff were great and very helpful! There was one historic elevator, which had to be operated by a staff person, which was fun to ride. The rooms and bathroom were small but comfortable. Options for a king bed or two queens/doubles would be beneficial as well. The hotel offered lectures by staff every evening, which was a great plus to learn some of the history of the hotel and area. It was also conveniently located to the various scenic roads and Waterton National Park. The only negative comment is that they had an "amenities package" that cost $20/day (Canadian dollar) for items that are usually offered by hotels for free - such as hair dryers, iron, ironing board. Given that the hotel was fairly expensive, guests should not have had to pay extra for the use of a hair dryer. Overall the hotel was a great place to stay with excellent staff and location."

"An old-world type of accommodation in every way. The decor is vintage in a homey way -- no overdone antique frills. The Lodge was originally a private home, and bedrooms while small, do have private bathrooms. The hostess was extremely friendly and chatty, and joined guests at breakfast time in the living room, where lodgers shared experiences over coffee and freshly baked muffins. While out of the mainstream touristy area of the town, it is only by a short walk to excellent restaurants, boat tours, lakeside strolls, and shops. A truly unique find!"
