"Finca Viva La Vida is a little gem in the hills of Alora. The property is beautiful. The rooms are tastefully designed, excellent water pressure with very hot water (if you like) and a comfortable bed! The pool area is nice and relaxing and positioned to receive sun most of the day - a great place to relax after a hike. "Wonderful place to be ! The host Evelien and Jasper are very kind and have a strong customer mindset. The room was well decorated, clean and so comfortable. There is a private terrace. The food was very tasty. The place is like paradise and so quiet! The country side is magical. If we visit again the area, we will for sure stay at this place! "The apartment looks brand new. Everything we needed was in there. Parking was under the building for a EUR10 charge per day."

"Positives. The apartment was well equipped (kitchen and bathrooms) and clean. There was parking available right outside and the check in instructions were clear and straightforward. There were ample heating and cooling options. Negatives There was no ability to access the balcony, which was advertised in the pictures and would have been a nice social space as there was no lounge area inside. The pillows were very uncomfortable and hindered a decent night's sleep. The lack of power points near the beds meant the bedside lamps didn't work and also not ideal for charging devices etc. The worst element for us was the building noise next door. While I appreciate this was not the fault of the Hostal, the apartment was uninhabitable from 8.30am for the majority of the day and some advanced notice (clearly the works had been going on a while) would have been appreciated as we could have made other plans."

The beds are comfortable, the showers are excellent, and everything feels carefully curated. The location is perfect, right in the peaceful village of Tolox, nestled within the stunning Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park. It’s an ideal base for hiking, exploring the mountains, or simply unwinding in a quiet, scenic setting. One of the highlights is the atmosphere—calm, relaxing, and intimate. Whether you're coming back from a long hike or just enjoying a slow morning, it’s the kind of place that helps you truly disconnect. Highlights: Exceptional host hospitality Stylish, clean, and comfortable rooms Perfect location for hiking and nature Peaceful, authentic village setting Bottom line: A hidden gem in southern Spain. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting."
