Wonderful, world class hotel! My husband and I loved our stay at the hotel. The room was elegant, very comfortable and quiet. The breakfasts were exceptional too. The hotel is an old 19th Century, if not earlier, residence in the heart of the Spanish colonial city with only ten rooms, and a short walk from the malecon. It had charming courtyards and was absolutely magical. Room, staff, breakfast, room all up to first class international standards. A real treat in a really lovely Mexican city.

My wife and I stayed at Casa Don Gustavo in June 2022 for 5 nights. The place is in the very middle of the Campeche historic area, with many nice restaurants close by. The hotel is in a beautifully restored historic building and furnished with antiques. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Some speak good English and the others try. We are looking forward to staying there again.

We stayed at Casa Don Gustavo for the first time based on reviews and seeing it on You.Tube in a video about Campache. It is extremely convenient for touring around Campeche. The staff was outstanding from welcoming us, checking us in and showing us to our room. The servers for breakfast were also outstanding. Our room was very nice, comfortable and large. The bed was comfortable and the linens good. We had the necessary amenties for the bathroom which were good quality. I did suggest in a survey when checking out that the shower head needed some adjustment. Parking for the hotel is a bit of a walk but was not a problem. Calle 59, the Sea Gate and the Land Gate are all easy walks. The hotel is on Calle 59 where all of the local restaurants are located. I would recommend Casa Don Gustavo to those visiting Campeche.
