"Lovely hotel in Taormina. Staff helped with everything we needed, including taking our luggage up to our room. This was important because there isn’t an airport elevator, a common experience on this trip. We stayed at 8 different places and only 2 had elevators. There is parking on site which is really important because parking is not easy anywhere in Sicily. We would have liked the hotel to have been closer to restaurants. It took about 15 to 20 minutes to walk o them but there were some places that did not have sidewalks and the traffic was busy. We sometimes took a taxi but that was rather expensive at 30 euros each way."
