"It was a wonderful stay . Hotel very clean , and we always someone cleaning , the restaurants were very good, the wait staff excellent. We will come back again . Checking in was also very pleasant, very knowledgeable and helpful in finding everything. In the hotel . I give it a 5 star "

"Almost everything was good, the staff were very helpful. The only thing was the room, we got our number by text, we went to the front desk, they activated our bracelets to go in the room, we got our access to the room and 1 hour later a family open the door, they give them the same room as us and also the access with there bracelets to our room, crazy, deactivating ours, we had to go back to the front desk to activate our bracelets again. We only got half of a toilet paper for all our stay and they didn't clean the room meanwhile we were there. Also the pools need a little of maintenance daily, because every time we went to the waves pool we saw the same bandaid floating around for days."

"Clean, quiet, and comfortable. We had a relaxing night at the baymont with our dog. We enjoyed music bingo and drinks in the lounge. Staff were friendly and welcoming. If you’re a light sleeper ask for a room that isn’t on the side of the building closest to the road, a lot of commercial traffic. It didn’t bother us however. Would definitely stay at this location again as they are pet friendly, with a reasonable pet fee ($20) where other hotels in the area charge $50-75. Grassy areas around the hotel to walk your pet were a plus. No complaints, fair pricing, clean rooms, was exactly what we needed it to be for a 1 night stay. Some of the reviews worried me, but upon checking in I felt they were a bit overstated. It’s certainly an older hotel, the fixtures in the bathrooms were a bit dated, but we were not staying there for aesthetics, and for the price point your expectations should be reasonable. Don’t let the negative reviews scare you if you’re thinking of booking here, everything was in working order, beds were comfy, rooms were clean. We will definitely be back as we are planning a wedding in the area frequently over the next year or so. "

"I didn’t experience the breakfast but the beds the floors and the bathroom was super clean. A little noisy outside but then it calmed down. The woman in the front desk was very informative and helpful when directing me around the area and when I needed extra quilts for my sons bed. LP"

"Room had roaches and smelled like heavy cigarette smoke. There was spit all over the elevator buttons. We left immediately after walking in the room and seeing live roach."

"This was our third stay at Magnolia, the staff at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. The stream is beautiful and they just opened a restaurant. The food was really good. My only complaint is a cleanliness. I would suggest that they do some quality control around the cleanliness because the lodge was not clean. The floor was extremely dirty. There was some hair in the top. I didn’t feel comfortable using the kitchen because it was not clean.. just something to focus on moving forward. We had a great time though and enjoyed our stay, we love that we can take our dog! "
