The Parkview Hotel
8/10 Good
"Wonderful 1920โs hotel. We have stayed a number of times over the last few years. It is safe, intersting and convenient to Syracuse University. We have just loved the historical features of the hotel. Not fancy, but clean comfortable and friendly. Now it is being overhauled by A chain and remodeling is feeling cheep. Room doors over painted and sticking badly. Other minor things we were willing to chalk up to growing pains until we learned about the generic overhaul of the lobby planned to obliterate the charming and gorgeous carved cement entrance . Iโm happy to see a great old hotel get saved, but no need to take away its charm!"
