Very nice hotel, the room is beautiful and clean. A very comfortable and soft bed, and clean bedding. The staff was extraordinarily nice, and was able to accommodate me with a bit of an early check-in. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was excellent. We had to book the hotel last minute, and everything exceeded our expectations. The service was outstanding, and we were very well taken care of — I believe by Angel, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. He truly made our stay even better. We would definitely stay here again.

Located closely enough to the airport. My room was nice, I only travelled down for a doctors appointment so I didn’t really tour the property or the facilities to comment on those. I go down a few times a year and this is the only hotel I’m willing to rebook

The hotel is in a good location, had to change rooms during my stay because the lights werent working and the doors didnt lock on the patio or the front door, spent the first night like this and was moved the next day

The room was nice and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. I wasn't told that the pool was not available for use. And the location was noisy and required a car or taxi to get around with little to no amenities in the surrounding area.

Great stay for a single night but wouldn't enjoy as a vacation spot. Pros were the onsite restaurant, friendly staff (all but one in our stay), nice spacious room layout (we were in jr King bed suite). Cons were the pool and hot tub temperatures and location/view were uninviting, they ran out of clean towels and all guests were told they had to wait until 10am the next morning, this seemed to be a nirmal situation by their response. BTW there is a superstore one block down so guests were told they could go purchase new ones. The overall views from the hotel could be underwhelming though there were a couple of angles that were good for a nice picture. Again, very good for a very short term stay that doesn't include enjoying the pool options.

Hive hotel good place to stay

Hive hotel is well located between airport and hotel area Rooms are very spacious, clean and quiet Easy access if you are driving Hotel was remodeling their main restaurant and were offering service in an improvised area by the pool serving food either in lower coffee tables and or under the sun Besides this issue with the restaurant, everything else was great!

The hotel overall is nice. It has a nice view from the balcony and the bamboos for the hallways are also good for taking pictures. However just like most of Mexico they keep trying to rip you off because you are a foreigner. The intercontinental breakfast is just juice, bread and some fruits. Limited food choices on the menu. The area isn’t the best for tourist as the Ubers were finding it difficult to find the hotel and everything (the strip) is 30mins away.

The staff were so friendly, anything we needed they were attentive. We also got our room upgraded for free with its own pool and a 7/11 nearby was such a convenience. The only disappointment was that they were renovating the forth floor so most amenities weren’t available.

Well to start, It’s not in a great part of town and the traffic noise is constant. Then the first day they ran out of caffeinated coffee for the rooms so I had to get dressed and go to the restaurant to get coffee in the morning. Fortunately it’s next door to a 7-11. The dining area is open air so if it rains (which it did most late afternoons) you can’t use it. The pool is small and faces south (I think) so the sun never really shines around the pool. The staff is very nice but there was a struggle with some communications as their English was about as good as my Spanish. Over all I think there are better places for the money.

My room was clean but had a disgusting smell to it, I had to purchase a candle to light. Bathroom walls need to be repainted, they were noticibly dirty. The wood work is beautiful and shouldn't be overlooked nor overpowered by dirty walls or a smelly room. I'm not a fan of a black swimming pool. My 8 yr old was afraid to get in because she said it didn't look clean. In all fairness you could see the calcium build up in certain areas of the pool and hot tub. The owners should really consider changing the tiles. The pool and bar area itself, is lovely and that would make it more inviting. Breakfast was continental, so I expected that but it was still good. Check in and out was fast and all of the hotel staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. The manager was very customer friendly and quickly resolved a small issue I had. That within itself made the stay more pleasant. And I appreciates that the most.

The property was nice, room was spacious, with a nice terrace. The bad is that the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from outside the busy traffic, the next door neighbors. Breakfast included is white toast, little fruit, coffee and juice. Barely meets continental. They also force you to download an app to access room and elevators.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hive Cancun! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The room was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel’s location was perfect—close to major attractions yet tucked away enough for peace and quiet. The dining options were excellent, with a variety of delicious dishes that exceeded my expectations. I especially loved the breakfast spread—it was fresh, abundant, and catered to different dietary preferences. The property itself was stunning, with well-maintained facilities and thoughtful touches everywhere. The pool and spa were a highlight for me—perfect for unwinding after a busy day. I can’t recommend this hotel enough! It’s clear they genuinely care about creating a memorable experience for their guests. I’ll definitely be returning for another stay!

I did not feel safe here, as a solo female traveler I asked for a silent room and then encountered many noise disturbances that could have been handled and fixed easy by the one who provoked them- maintenance staff. Reception would not pick up calls made from room. Be ready to pay extra fees upon check in that are not written when making the booking. I did not had breakfast nor dine in here. Also avoid sushi place next door. It felt like a scam kinda of place.
