"Lovely stay. We booked ‘blind’ but were very pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel and restaurant is. The pool was great and the food cooked perfectly. Will be staying again."
"Spacious and exceptionally clean room. Breakfast was a delight with a wide variety of choices. The staff were helpful and attentive. Definitely would stay here again!"
"A beautiful hotel with many buildings with different rooms. A clean large swimming pool in a beautiful courtyard which was welcome after a day sat in the car. Staff are very friendly and restaurant/bar service very good. A good meal in the courtyard restaurant. Easy to park. A spacious garden to walk around with our small dog. Air conditioning in our room was not very good at all. No fly screens fitted to windows so we couldn’t open windows due to high level of flies/bugs/moths."
"Converted castle property, very scenic exterior and courtyards but rooms are a bit dated/unmodern and uncomfortable - dark, cracks in walls and floors, peeling paint, incredibly thin walls (could hear neighbors and their dog quite clearly), lumpy bed. Great jacuzzi, sauna and steam room facilities. Pool side drinks, but way overpriced (as was the laundry service which lost my shirt for a day). Breakfast was fantastic, great quality food and variety. This area is not tourist-developed, and this facility may be the finest place in the area; it just has its limitations, but it is still good. Our main problem is we stayed on a weekend, and the grounds were being used constantly for 2 weddings and a birthday party, all of which we could hear all day and night. But I understand, it may be the nicest place for these events, and we picked a weekend stay, so that is just the deal of the cards."
