We really enjoyed our stay, room was clean and in a calm area that is walkable to train and beaches. Could use more amenities in the bathroom but other than that very excellent!

Lovely 2-night stay in a triple room. Room was spacious, nice decor, very clean. Friendly reception and nice seating area out front of the property. Only 5 min walk to train station in Juan-Les-Pins, so great base for exploring the areas. Would definitely stay again.

Great experience.

We had an excellent 6 days at Hotel & Studios Astor. Isabel and Christophe are great hosts, very friendly and helpful. Hotel made us relaxed and feel like at home. Location wise, it is in a walking distance to Old Town and Juan Les Pins beaches. Also Train station is just 3 mins away where you can take easily and cheap trains to Cannes and Nice etc.

Absolutely wonderful little hotel that is run by a wonderful couple. The property is clean, spacious, and delightfully appointed. The convenience of the available laundry, automatic coffee machine, and cooler full of drinks (all for a reasonable additional cost) is only surpassed by the convenience of the hotel’s proximity to the Juan-les-pins train station. Using the hotel as a base to explore the French Riviera from Menton to Marseille, we were easily able to take in all the sights and events we had planned. We will definitely recommend Hotel Astor to our family and friends.

I've stayed here for work and with family now - very quiet, lovely area, so convenient to both Antibes and Juan-Les-Pins. The fridge is fully stocked and on-trust (and liberally used by us), the owner is kind - strong recommend if you're looking for something local, clean, efficient, comfy, and outside the big brand names.

The owners really care that their customers enjoy their stay. They asked each morning how they stay was going, and if there was anything they could do to make the stay better. The rooms are very roomy, and the hotel is located in a nice quiet neighborhood, but very walkable to the beach and amenities found down that way. The hotel had a really welcoming energy...very happy that we picked this hotel to stay at for the week.

This hotel is a good fit for some people - but not for us. We booked a terrace room for three nights. We arrived in afternoon and office was closed (only open in morning) and check-in instructions were clipped to a board at the entry. Our room was two floors down, no elevator and at the end of a narrow hall. It had a door to a narrow terrace that had been excavated many feet below grade. The room was clean but clearly a one-star room that barely met the definition of a daylight basement. We left the room to find food. The neighborhood is residential with no services visible anywhere. There was no person on-site to ask for directions. We mistakenly walked toward Antibes. It was a 20 minute walk before we found anything. We were travelling for pleasure and decided this facility wasn’t going to work for us. We forfeited the 2 remaining nights. If our objective was the Juan Les Pin beach, a hike to any services, and a value room and we knew to avoid the basement location, Hotel Astor might have been a good choice. We talked to the owner as we left to move to a new hotel. He was incredulous that we would leave and fiercely defended his hotel and the accuracy of their description. I requested partial refund. I was refused, which was his right. Still, we left as dissatisfied guests and a gracious host would have made some attempt to mitigate the situation. We paid nearly 200 euros per night at Astor and found a gorgeous Antibes hotel for just slightly more.

Isabelle und Jean-Christophe sind total nette und sympathische Gastgeber. Die Zimmer sind harmonisch eingerichtet und man findet im Haus viele wunderschöne Kunstwerke von Isabelle, insbesondere Mandalas in vielen kreativen Varianten. Herzlichen Dank an die beiden auch für die vielen Ausflugstipps. Insbesondere die kleinen Künstlerdörfer im Hinterland haben uns sehr gut gefallen (St. Paul de Vence, Valbonne, Mougins,...). Das Hotel liegt verkehrstechnisch sehr gut. In wenigen Minuten ist man am Strand von Juan les Pins. Auch der Strand und das Zentrum von Antibes sind gut fußläufig zu erreichen. Besonders gut fanden wir auch, dass man den Bahnhof von Juan les Pins in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß erreichen kann. Von dort ist man für ein paar Euro in 10 Minuten im Zentrum von Cannes. Auch nach Grasse, Nizza, Monte Carlo und Menton kann man sehr gut mit dem Zug fahren. Das Tagesticket kostet EUR 20 für die erste Person und EUR 5 für jede weitere. Ticktes gibts Online auf der Seite von SNCF TER: (Pass Journée 06 Alpes Maritime). Das Frühstück ist typisch französisch, mit Baguette, Croissants, Marmelade, Butter, Joghurt, Café (au lait), Tee oder Chocolate etc. Man kann einen Parkplatz mieten, der durch ein Tor abgeschlossen ist, und keine 50m vom Hotel entfernt liegt. Bon hôtel

La chambre était spacieuse et le lit confortable. Les équipements fournis dans la cuisine étaient minimum, pas de grille pain, ni de machine à capsules de café. Pas de réception à l'arrivée le dimanche après midi, juste un mode d'emploi pour accéder à la chambre. Un jardin agréable et une possibilité payante de stationner.

Tutto perfetto,unica cosa non è un hotel ma un b&b dal mio punto di vista,un hotel ha sempre una persona di riferimento ,in questo c’era solo la mattina,però molto gentili,molto pulito e consiglio!! Molto costosa questa zona nel periodo di agosto ed anche questa struttura abbastanza cara in questo periodo ,per il resto tutto ottimo.

Fantastisk oplevelse

Fantastisk oplevelse. Vi bookede studio lejlighed med terasse og køkken. Billederne ligner og det levede op til forventningerne. Drives af et ægtepar, der er virkelig søde. Vi kommer gerne tilbage.

Hôtel de charme La décoration invite à la sérénité et l'on s'y sent bien Le matin nous entendons les oiseaux. 15 mn à pied pour rejoindre plages et restaurants Tout est impeccable chambre literie salle de bain et petit plus : réfrigérateur et micro-ondes à disposition Les hôtes sont charmants et dans le partage Nous y reviendrons avec beaucoup de plaisir
