"Ideal stop the evening before sailing from Dover. We wanted to ensure we got pre-sailing checks completed prior to sailing at ten and were early for breakfast. Staff were accommodating, made us an early breakfast for which we were extremely grateful. Thank you Millers Arms"

"Great location for the centre of Canterbury and access to the cathedral, shops and green spaces. Air-conditioning in room a bit noisy, but otherwise room met our needs. Ideally a coffee machine in the room would be better and a mini-bar. What we didn't like was the fact that we had booked a continental breakfast, but you could only order one item from a menu, and coffee/juice and the buffet offered was only cereal and fruit. Not sure how this is continental as would have expected pastries/croissants, yoghurt, meats/cheeses etc."

"The room was clean and reasonably decorated. The staff were welcoming and polite. The breakfast was good. There is no evening restaurant but this is not a problem as there are a large number of restaurants a short walk away. The hotel is well situated for all the towns attractions but benefits for being just off the High Street (which can be very busy). Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to use again."

"The check-in process was incredibly easy and seamless from start to finish. Everything was well organised, and the parking instructions were clear and straightforward, making our arrival completely stress-free. We had a pleasant stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short visit. It's a simple, no-frills place with basic amenities, but it delivered exactly what we expected. The breakfast was good, with a nice selection to start the day, and the overall experience was great value for money. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay without the extras, this is a solid choice."

"Very little to fault, one or two bits could do with a little TLC, but check in was seamless and Staff very helpful. Room was very hot when we arrived, but a fan was ready in our room. Breakfast was served hot and served fresh in good time, I was surprised by the number of Staff for a hotel of this size. Being able to park at the hotel and walk into Town was a great bonus. Will definitely return if in the area."

"Staff were very friendly and efficient. Hotel and my room always looked clean and inviting. Meals were tasty and well presented. If had to make a criticism it would be that there was no portable (temporary) air conditioning and the windows in my room (Charles 3rd) could not be opened. A large fan had thoughtfully been provided before my arrival but in the heatwave simply moved the hot air. Bar and restaurant staff were excellent and despite seeming to be switching between roles at times, there was never much of a wait. This was my first break in 2 1/2 years and was very relaxing. Would definitely visit again."
