"Roberta was extremely accommodating and helpful. They have bikes that can be used to ride the walls of Lucca. Great experience for those that have never done it. "

"This was one of the cutest b&b I have stayed at, conveniently located next to the airport. The room was extremely clean and the bathroom was modern. The host was friendly and communicative and the pastries and coffee at breakfast were excellent. "

"Bit far from shops, restaurants, supermarkets and the city centre. If you are fine to walk back to the hotel after dinner in the city center its fine, or else you may want to have a vehicle.
The hotel is clean and spacious, staff are polite and friendly. However, the room was quite outdated (not a big deal), the breakfast is ok, and the hotel has some policies which I do not really understand.
Two issues we had during our stay:
1. Was quite hot in the room (26-28 degrees at night), though we understand the AC is not allowed in Italy at this time of the year, there was no other practical solution offered.
2. The hotel refuses to heat baby food in their microwave. Staff explanation is that they can't be sure of the ingredients in the food. I do not find this very useful as an explanation, as we have eaten in restaurants that have not refused to heat the food. Even fast food restaurants and bakeries have heated baby food without hesitation. I therefore do not understand the super standards of the hotel. "
"Everything about the hotel was tip top apart from one thing.
Before arrival, we weren't warned about renovation work being carried out, not even by email. We were informed of this on arrival.
We stayed two night's, and after the first night, the works started happening at SEVEN AM. We chose to give the hotel staff the benefit of doubt. After the second night (when we were due to check out) I complained to a member of staff at the concierge who insisted on gas lighting me and states the contrary until her colleague arrived to confirm that I was right. I wish I took her name to complain to NH hotel for the ridicule.
Her colleague and her struggled to find a way to remedy our dissatisfaction, I suggested cancelling the tourist tax, i.e. they pay for it which they wouldn't. We were offered free parking but we didn't drive for this particular holiday. All we got was complimentary mini bar usage, so we raided it on check out. It was a slight compensation for the initial discomfort in a broken sleep.
Would I stay again: yes, the buffet was fantastic and location for the hotel were phenomenal. My wife and I were not impressed by the initial way we were dealt with by the rude lady in reception (who I can't report to NH).
7/10"
"The property is very close to the attractions of Pisa. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel is located on a main tourist street and can be noisy but ear plugs were provided within amenities. "
"The property looks like it is very close to the train station on a map, but the reality is quite different. More than 1km away from the city, on the wrong side of the rail tracks in a dreadful location. The hotel is modern and very clean, but no hot water for a shower, either in the evening or morning is very poor for any star of hotel. When i mentioned upon checking out, the receptionist good careless. The restaurant is close, so is the gym and meeting rooms. Breakfast was to be a voucher for somewhere not exactly next door, or a box. Not delivered to the room. I chose to take mine away as I had an early check out. This 'bag' was not forthcoming coming after paying the city tax etc, I literally had to ask! I use hotels.com often and stay in Italy, often. I am used to a less than warm reception (which isn’t right) but this place was empty and the attitude was terrible. I won't be staying here again. "
"Absolutely stunning scenery with beautiful rolling hills and surrounding wineries. Friendly and helpful staff. Seems to be family owned.
If I were to suggest some areas of improvement, maybe the shower stalls can be cleaned more thoroughly. Breakfast varieties could also do with some expansion. But in general it was a wonderful stay! "
