"If you're looking for a place to unwind after a long day of sightseeing, this hotel is a great choice. The beds are comfortable, and most importantly, the rooms smell fresh and clean—surprisingly pleasant for an older hotel. It definitely doesn’t have that musty, outdated scent you might expect. The breakfast buffet is also impressive, offering a good variety of options."
"Excellent property. The room was very nice and spacious. The staff were friendly and allowed me to check in early so I didn’t have to wait for an extended period after arriving at the hotel. "
"We stayed only for a short overnight rest after hiking in the Cape Bretton, but the cleanliness of the room and newly renovated bathroom was impressed. There are a couple of quite sandy beaches close by to swim and watch the sunset and wake up to watch the sunrise and beautiful mountain and river next morning from the room window. "
"The staff were wonderful and this place is kept absolutely immaculate. We had a sea view room, again... immaculate. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. Yes... we enjoyed staying here. They do have some slots there and interesting antiques in the front room. The hotel is older but well maintained. We liked it here."
