Very clean and spacious room. Staff were very good, always checking to see if everything was OK. Breakfast was also excellent with lots of choices. Would definitely recommend as it is in a great location.
Room was modern with a good bed. Gifted some snacks and small bottle of wine. Staff were friendly and professional . Included breakfast had good variety. No door on the bathroom but toilet was in a separate room. No rubbish bin in toilet or bathroom, needs to be added. Nice location, close to V&A
Excellent location near the conference centre, a short trip to V&A Waterfront and city centre. The Hop on hop off boat stops at the hotel - which is a great way to get to the Waterfront. Only downside was dim lighting in the room - typical of so many hotels
Directly on the Canal. I had a great view on Signal Hill and the Canal. Everything is close and there are many activities to do in the area. The staff at the hotel are nice and accommodating. The food at the Canal Café is very good too.
Modern, stylish and comfortable room and restaurant with great service. Beautiful views of the mountain. I stayed there because I was catching the train to Elgin in the early morning, so was brilliant for that. Was not very easy to get to the waterfront and had to get a taxi back. Would definitely stay there again.
The suite was large and very comfortable. We had a balcony to sit out and enjoy the afternoon sun. Breakfast was very good.
The main issue was lack of Wi-Fi
Hotel was very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Only problem I had, I was given a room where the A/C did not work and they had a small fan in the room. The fan was not big enough nor strong enough to cool the entire room.
Difficult to access after 8pm. Gated access closes at 8pm and then you need an Uber or taxi to get to the premises.
Bathroom had natural light spill into bedroom which was not great.
Staff extremely nice and helpful.
Breakfast was very nice.
The swimming pool was dirty at the first days. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The view towards the harbor was not nice. there was only a curtain between the bathroom and the bedroom (FYI for those who need more privacy in the bathroom 😊)
The room was very nice and reception staff extremely friendly and helpful. The buildings seem to be a mix of hotel and residential and are quite spaced out. The pool looked quite inviting but there were no facilities such as toilets or changing area at the pool itself. We had a drink and snack at the bar, and enjoyed breakfast in the cafe, both were nice but the outside area here could have benefited from a jet wash. The location of the hotel felt a little remote although we were able to walk, in daylight, to the waterfront (around 25 minutes). For all the above reasons, and because the rate seemed really quite expensive for Capetown, I can only give a four star rating despite the nice room.
