Wonderful historic guesthouse

This is a lovely historic guesthouse with wonderful staff and location. The only negative is that the pool was cold and tiny. But we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

Superb!

My wife and I had a wonderful two night stay. Great service and friendly staff in a beautifully maintained hotel with exquisite furniture. We were given a complimentary access card for the Botanical Gardens perfectly situated across the road from the hotel. Walking distance from restaurants, shopping and University. Borehole and generator options in times of uncertainty. The perfect holiday or business getaway. We would love to return.

Für ein Viersterne-Hotel haben wir eindeutig mehr erwartet. Das Badezimmer war zwar modern, aber sehr eng. Auch der Rest des Zimmers war sehr eng, dunkel und alles andere als gemütlich und leicht schmuddelig, ebenso wie der Frühstücksraum. Im Vergleich zu anderen 4-Stern-Hotels auf unserer Reise, war dieses Guesthouse wirklich eine herbe Enttäuschung.

É uma boa opção mas deixa a desejar em vários aspectos.... O que mais gostamos foi a localização (perto o suficiente para irmos andando a vários restaurantes e comércios da cidade apesar de que a noite fica um pouco esquisito a rua), o café da manhã muito bom e a cortesia com que fomos recebidos. Não gostei do tamanho do quarto, a cama também poderia ser maior além dos móveis serem bastante antigos e o chuveiro fazer muito barulho.

Charming B&B and great location

A charming B&B in the heart of Stellenbosch town. We had a large, lovely room (#9) in this historic home and enjoyed morning and evening walks in the neighborhood and to nearby restaurants between our winery visits. Lacked the personal touch of a B&B owner-host, but that didn't really matter to us.
