The rooftop patio view is amazing. You can really admire the mountains. Very safe (face recognition at all entrances). Small but complete gym.

Tokyo Hotels Rock

I throughly enjoined my stay on this property. The staff was extremely attendant and helpful. Checking in was a breeze and cheking was the same. Big thank you to Vivian the house keeper that kept our room in pristine condition. Ill definitely be back. The cocktail and breakfast bar in the lobby is worth trying. The barista make an awesome cappuccino.

It’s in the City Centre. Staffs were friendly. Aside from the fact that they (cleaners) messed up my Cepap machine, it’s close to the VA water front and Camps Bay. Nice place overall

This is probably one of the worst experience I’ve had staying in another country. I went to South Africa for a week and expected nothing but an experience. Once I checked in into Tokyo property, and enter the room, I was a little bit, disappointed, the smaller bugs I found around the kitchen. There was also a lot of hair underneath the couches. The AC was not working when it was turned down. After being away for a several hours, we came back to the room and once I entered the bathroom, there were several roaches running around the bathroom, which I’ve taken pictures of and some had to kill. I made the front desk aware, but they didn’t seem to be in any such hurry and said they will contact management in the morning. Very disappointed.

My stay at this hotel was highly disappointing. Despite multiple attempts, I received no response regarding my delayed arrival. Upon check-in, the balcony door wouldn’t lock, creating a security risk that the front desk dismissed. The room was unclean, with roaches and used condom packaging, and not the one I booked. The manager was rude but eventually moved us to a smaller, cleaner room, though the shower had a persistent mildew odor. The hotel also refused to refund my unused night and mishandled my late checkout, leading to unnecessary delays and extra costs. Poor communication, lack of accountability, and subpar service made this a terrible experience. I do not recommend this hotel.

I wanted to hop on here to write a review that I would have liked to have read myself while choosing the hotel. Pros: -The location was everything! It was so nice to be able to walk most places. -As two women, we both felt very safe the entire time walking around the area. I read reviews where people said they didn’t feel safe, but we didn’t feel this at all. -You are only allowed to enter the building if you are digitally verified. They take your picture at check in, and the hotel uses photo recognition to allow you to open the lobby front door. -Room is equipped with a full kitchen which is nice if you want to cook. -Overall, the room was clean and tidy. -The pool on the rooftop is a neat feature! Cons: -Says that the hotel is a nonsmoking hotel but the hallways smell like smoke. -The room itself smelled musty. We ended up purchasing a moisture absorber which seemed to help some but not much. We also tried air freshener but it only helped for a bit. -There is a club or lounge of some sort nearby, so there is blasting music and honking cars until the early morning hours. I was able to block out the sound by turning on AC and using ear plugs. -This hotel doesn’t have anything bigger than a double bed. Overall, it’s important to consider what is important to you while choosing your hotel. If you don’t mind some noise and are big on location, this hotel is a perfect getaway for an affordable price especially if you are only really using it to sleep.

The place was very clean. The food in the restaurant area was delicious. I had a problem with one person there, but certainly not enough for me not to recommend this place. I would definitely stay here again. The only negative was my interaction with one person, and that definitely is not a reflection on the entire place. 4 stars only because of this.
