A lovely Guesthouse with a stunning garden and outside bar around a massive tree. Service is great and the beer Ice-Cold. Breakfast was great and the service and the friend- Liness excellent. The two huge dogs gave it a friendly homely atmosphere which made the stay even better.

We enjoyed our stay at Val de Vine, but the Classic Double room (Garden room 101 and Garden room 102) is not to be recommended. It is EXTREMELY SMALL and situated in the back yard with lots of noise by the workers from the kitchen, early morning. To pay R630 per person / room (taxes excluded) for that room, is really highway robbery. The breakfast and service in the dining room, was excellent.

WiFi doesn’t work Full of characters who are drunk No key to get in safely at night Strange people walking around Bed is rock hard Toilet makes noises in middle of night Loud music and crowded of people Noise from talking until the early hours in the morning Do not feel safe, doors do not lock properly Can’t enjoy the pool as it’s filthy and full of kids Staff do not care/ are rude Breakfast isn’t up to scratch of a 1 star hotel At night you can’t get in safely after 9pm they lock the grounds and the area is full of characters. There is a code to get in that they do not tell their guests, the night warden is meant to let you in but he was drunk and aggressive. DO NOT STAY HERE. Worst customer service.

Erdgeschoss im Haupthaus war abends bis 11 Uhr und morgens ab 7 Uhr sehr unruhig und laut. Nichts zum Ausschlafen. Sanitäreinrichtung sehr spärlich, keine Ablage, keine Handtuchhalter Dusche, Beim Duschen spritzt das Wasser bis Mitte des Raumes. Safe wäre wünschenswert.
