My second stay at The Angel Hotel and I would stay there again. Lovely place, very friendly staff and very central. Room was big and clean, even if some furniture is might a bit worn down, the bed was comfortable.

Breakfast I think was very good. The staff especially during breakfast was helpful and pleasant The bathroom and room were clean ; although during the stay on one day although we were out of our room from 9am in the morning ; at noon our room had still not been cleaned and to had to request it.

A lovely hotel, in the perfect location for transport+ sightseeing. Across the road from Cardiff Castle. The hotel was lovely, clean rooms, hotel staff excellent+ very helpful. Breakfast was great. The only negative was the outside needed a re paint, but a great hotel and I would definitely stay again.

It was ok for what we paid. There is no AC but because it wasn’t hot outside, we were fine. I’m glad they provided a fan for air circulation. There were no outlets next to the bed on either side so we couldn’t have our phones next to us, which I guess is a good thing to stay away from screens. But an outlet would have been nice. It was good for one night and well located near places to eat.
