The photos showed a pool and there wasn’t one. The mattress was pure springs, woke up with a bad back. The rooms were surface clean but stained and dated. Shower was mouldy. I wouldn’t stay again
For the price we have no complaints, the hotel was modern and clean, the staff were so helpful and friendly! Beds were comfortable. There was a function on so music was loud until 12am but we were so tired, it didnt bother us!
Gym is chargeable, there is a pool in the pictures on Google Maps - nope. Our room was directly above the bar and function room where a wedding party had thumping music until very late. Minimal parking but plenty on the streets nearby. Great reception staff, but wish they'd given us a room in the quieter part of the hotel!

When we arrived there was no parking space which was fine but we did have to walk awhile away from the hotel, when arrived the staff were friendly, once getting into the lift and arriving to our room, we walked into our room and it stunk of damp/mould, the room was tiny and both me and my partner could hardly walk around in the room, bathroom was small but was ok, the bedroom was freezing with no heating, we didn’t have a hairdryer and we had a thin pillow each, after awhile my boyfriend went to reception to ask for a hairdryer, pillow and an extra blanket because we was both shivering! we got given a hairdryer and was told that the staff would bring up the extras, they didn’t! the shower was dirty and could hardly move around in it, later that night we tried sleeping and couldn’t because the people next to us had there tv on full blast, we went down to reception and complained which then they did nothing and we couldn’t sleep until gone 5am as there tv was on all night! once we was able to get to sleep we was then woken up to either staff/guest screaming with music on, so we couldn’t sleep and our room had uncontrollable smell throughout both our room and bathroom, the wall next to our bed was also covered in black marks and the bed was extremely uncomfortable, the springs dugged into our back which lead us to not being able to sleep too, we was not happy!
We didn't mind how small our room was as we were only going to be there for one night. But bed was not standard double and was also very soft. So made for an uncomfortable night by both of us.
We were also awoken by an argument which ended up becoming violent. Called night manager who came very quickly to sort it, then came back as more complaints and the occupants left within 20 minutes.
Rooms are very basic but clean and warm comfortable bed staff are very helpful and polite only 100 yards to local eating and pubs limited parking on site overall very good for what you're paying
The whole hotel feels neglected.Car park is difficult to park in, not enough spaces for the number of rooms. Even the road outside has double yellow lines. Cigarette ends on driveway and steps to hotel not nice. Receptionist was lovely and very informative. No breakfast available but local pub was recommended. Lift works and found my room, deadlock was difficult to operate. Bathroom was tiny no room to manoeuvre, lucky it was just me. Window pane in room was cracked and I couldn't close it tight, window looked the same age as the building. Wind blew through the gap and blinds were moving. I had to sleep in my puffer coat as duvet was summer one, and the pillows smelt of petrol or something so had to keep my hood on my hoodie and coat.So cold in the room and the rain was so nosiy as it hit the flat roof outside. The bar was open past 1 am as advised , I could hear customers in it below. The french customers in there at midnight when I called in for snacks didn't return to their rooms till well after 2 am, so noisy! No minibar as advertised in the room so I had to stretch across huge bath and use the bathroom windowsill the bath was the legnth of the room. TV has very few stations can't even get BBC. The shower was in the tall bath and difficult to climb into, the shower was the only redeeming feature of the room. I left early , told receptionist everything calmly, she made notes and mentioned a refund I've had lf the cost refunded thanks for that .
Very, very tired hotel. Bistro shut permanently so no food available despite it still showing on their web site. Room very poor, door lock broken, toilet roll holder missing off wall, black mold on bathroom ceiling, yuk! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Only positive note was reception staff very nice and helpful.
Didn't use the bar. The bed was not in good state.

Clean room, comfortable bed but very thin curtains and poorly fitted window meant I was woken by traffic noise and/or day light. Staff very friendly and always more than happy to help.
The room was small but ample for an overnight stay alone. The room was clean apart from the blind which was stained. The receptionist was cheerful, helpful and informative. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in! Horrible view and dirty blind my only negatives.

It was ok for the price, bed was comfy and nice big room. Bed sheets were clean and the room was cleanish
Walls are very thin, can hear someone in the next room cough and their tv
Stayed 2 nights, key fob had to be reset after first night as we couldn’t get back into our room
Car park was full upon arrival
Mystery stains on the curtains and a stain in the bathroom
Everything was as expected i gave only 4 stars only because the room could do with a touch of paint and updating other than that it would of been 5 stars
