"We stayed there for 8 days and had to request a towel for outside the shower door, replacement of loofah towels and shower gel (was empty). I had to place a towel there and for 3 straight days the room service crew didn’t bother to remove it and place the correct towel. Instead they moved it to the side (not take it out) and leave us to step out of the shower directly on the floor. There is no direct dial for housekeeping. Reached out to the front desk and it was corrected. The room was not mopped during the stay. Our bed was made up but they removed the blanket because I used an additional blanket from the closet (which I needed but others probably didn’t).
The breakfast staff was okay, much helpful and friendlier once they got tipped. Most part of the beach was blocked by the coconut trees. One can only enjoy the beach by walking/being on it, otherwise it’s limited view from the entertainment area, and better from the outside bar.
Our biggest setback was the swim up bar. It’s always overcrowded and no one ever steps out to use the bathroom! Very disgusting. We visited last year and it was the same issue! There should be signs posted to inform these adults that they should step out to use the bathroom. People are in there for hours (we’ve purposely observed this). This was the same last year. The only problem that has not been addressed or corrected.
We did notice some improvements from last time we visited like the outside tables and bathrooms being cleaned often."
