"The proprietor was very friendly and accommodating. Lovely room and excellent, ample breakfast. Shower is tight for a plus-sized person. Parking very easy, but the peculiarities of house numbering in Carrara make it difficult to find the B&B location, which is located not near #18 and behind another group of houses numbered 16. Still, I highly recommend this B&B!"

"Wonderful hosts and beautiful location. A great place for hikers and people who like to explore the nature and the woods. The town is small but the host can prepare a lovely dinner which I highly recommend. Very enjoyable stay. "

"I wish we’d stay longer. The property was amazing, matching such beautiful surroundings and sights of lovely Porto Venere! Also, the service and care shown by Giovanni is unmatched. From before our arrival until our departure, he made sure we were settled and made us feel as if we were the only guests on the property. "

"So much about this hotel to dislike.
1. Our "King size" bed was just two beds stuck together. While this is common in hotels, they usually cover the join between the two beds enough so that it isn't obvious or uncomfortable. Sleeping anywhere near the middle of the "king" was awful due to the hard sides of the beds creating a hump. This also meant that all outlets and lighting controls were in the center of the bed and so completely useless.
2. The room had an electronic "no not disturb" feature as was common in many of our European hotels. However, it seemed to switch itself off without notice. So even after signaling to the staff that you didn't want the room disturbed, they couldn't tell. Apparently a known issue since there was a supplementary door hanger hiding on the "closet" but no other advice to let a guest know.
3. There were zero drawers for clothes storage. Apparently everybody else who visits this hotel likes living out of their luggage. We don't.
4. The "Moxy Hotel" vibe isn't what we paid top dollar for."
"From start to near finish (we’re still here), this hotel ticks all the right boxes. I felt compelled to write this review even before the end of our stay - it was/is that good. We arrived quite late and the town was very busy. We had to park the car just outside to unload the bags. The receptionist staff came to great us (to check if we were staying there). He then told us to leave bags in lobby while we looked for a parking space - which was at a premium due to a public holiday. While we were searching there was a call from the receptionist to say they had found a space outside the hotel - what great service - they went the extra mile to help us. After checking in, we went to our room. We had requested a high floor room. As we entered the immaculately clean room, our breath was taken away by the amazing view overlooking the sea. Best first time experience ever. The great breakfast the following day had everything for everyone’s tastes. We mainly stuck to a healthy breakfast of fruit, juices and coffee (with the occasional pastry for good measure). The waitress staff were friendly and helpful, providing useful information on things to do and places to go. I especially want to say how helpful and lovely Valentina was - thank you. We were / are so happy to have booked this wonderful hotel and would highly recommend. Looking forward to a return visit."
"An amazing 2 night stay. Paulo and Michael were so helpful. They meet you at the train station, walk with you to the office, ask you what you plan to do/see while you are there. Help you plan, or in my case be more realistic about my plans but still get the most out of the Cinque Terre. You can buy discounted trail and train tickets from them. Coffee, water, Juice and snacks in the room.
Our room did not face the sea (as I booked it) but overlooking a cute stairway/alley.
I’m spoiled by my bed at home but the bed was firmer than I prefer but not going to knock them for that.
Customer Service was top notch."
"This is not a 5 stars hotel .
I found the hotel looking for a hotel
In Forte dei Marmi.
The hotel is really far from Forte and the area has nothing to do with Forte dei Marmi
Portovenere is only one block with nothing to do for tourists
The hotel is old , and is a 3 stars hotel
With help is a 4 stars"
