"The property location is close to shops, restaurants, the Boqueria market. The staff is courteous and offer good service. The rooms are very spacious and clean. I travel a lot and have high standards with 4 stars hotels ratings. This is a 4 star old hotel that could use some upgrades. For instance the outlets in the room are at floor level so charging your phone, you have to reach under the desk or night stand to get to it. This should be at table level. The faucets in the bathroom are old fashioned. One faucet for cold and the other for hot. There are written instructions to turn the water on in the shower so that should tell you how old the hotel is. With that said, this can be overlooked because of the service and location."

"The staff at this property were fantastic in accommodating my requests. I asked for an iron and board, and they promptly delivered them to my room. The room itself was basic and a bit small; there was no conditioner in the bathroom or magnifying mirror, though many places don’t provide these. The bathroom could use some improvements, as the shower area has no vents for steam, leading to a musty smell and warped tiles. That said, cleanliness was good. The only issue I had was booking a shared shuttle with the hotel, which wasn’t allowed to pick me up there, so I had to walk about 10 minutes to meet it at a bus station. The hotel’s location is ideal, being close to main attractions."
