The Junior Suite was probably one of the nicest hotel rooms anywhere that i have stayed in. I am also a Hotel GM in Canada and loved my stay here. The Hotel is very nice.

Staff was AMAZING!! Definitely went above and beyond! The manager Mr. Sheik Rojas was very accommodating and friendly. They made our stay extremely memorable especially for my fiancé's BDAY. Will definitely be back. Hotel is safe and in the heart of EVERYTHING!!! Yes, it can be loud at night but we love to people watch and so it didn't bother us when it was time to sleep. Enjoy and HAPPY Travels!

The hotel is lovely and the staff is also super helpful. If you planning to stay here be aware that this hotel is beyond noisy. It felt like sleeping on the street. They need to do something about the noise - triple glassing, ear plugs in every room, anything

Beautiful boutique hotel with great staff. They have nice cocktails at the bar. The design of the hotel is stunning. The street is very busy and noise whole evening.

Absolutely beautiful great place to stay. I would not recommend if you are looking for a quiet area. There is loud street noise. But if want to stay in the center of the plaza it's absolutely beautiful, clean, great staff, safe and staff are very nice and helpful.

my favorite hotel in Cartagena
this is a fabolous hotel if you appreciate design and comfort. I wish I had booked a larger room but other than that my stay was thoroughly enjoyable

We stayed here for our honeymoon and was completely satisfied with our stay. We choose one of the suite to stay in with a private jacuzzi, balcony and corner view. The staff was excellent, attentive, hospitable and efficient. The gastronomy and mixology for a hotel was delightful. The intimate rooftop was perfect to enjoy for small setting with full sun throughout the day. The hotel is located centrally in the heart of the action which was perfect for us. Gets a little noisy at night until closing but didn't bother us. Very spacious room with high ceilings, with new upgrades and vintage character. Definitely will stay here again when we visit the area as a choice. Thank you..!

The welcome on arrival lacked any warmth and it felt like we were disturbing the member of staff. Room was very clean, comfortable and a lovely design, but incredibly dark with unnecessarily complicated light controls. Lovely rooftop area with amazing views. Breakfast service was a little slow at times, but the food was plentiful and delicious. Ate once in the restaurant for lunch and again the food was delicious. Very convenient location in the heart of the old town, so walkable to most areas of interest.

La verdad no fue lo que esperábamos. Nosotros decidimos irnos por la Suite ( la más cara del lugar) y en las fotos se mostraba como una habitación muy amplia a comparación de las otras y con el jacuzzi incluido. Vimos por la pagina de Instagram del hotel y se mostraban varias suites de las cuales asumimos que como pagamos la más cara en EXPEDIA, tendríamos la mejor y al llegar al establecimiento nos dijeron que no. Que habían 4 suites y que nos tocaría la que este disponible en ese momento. Cabe mencionar que este fue el viaje por mi cumpleaños y que las expectativas eran bien altas. De ahí el hotel es muy muy bonito, ordenado y limpio. Las personas muy amables y dispuestas en ayudar en lo que necesiten. Pero hubiera pagado una habitación sin yacuzzi por un precio menor. No lo vale realmente.

This was a super disappointing stay. The property is very aesthetically pleasing. You are in the center of the old city and it does look beautiful if you have a balcony view. This was a 7 night stay. During checkin I was informed my room was double booked and I’d in my be staying 4 nights and will be moved to another for 2 and then another for the last night. Very disappointed and to add there was miscommunication during the last move where we packed the night before and then told we would actually be staying. Room change was an obvious downgrade and wasn’t able to get compensated in any way. During checkout I spoke with manager to voice frustration and he just put his staff on the spot and reprimanded her as if it was her fault. The room we initially stayed in was very nice with great views of the city but the power would go out at least twice a day for a few minutes so it wouldn’t stay as cool as we wanted it to. If you do opt to stay her I’d recommend a short stay maybe 1-3 nights and opt to stay at a Hyatt for the rest. The city is extremely touristy and unfortunately comes with all the evil of that. As soon as you walk out there are vendors following you to the point of harassment. It is a party hub so there is also a lot of prostitution around this area and many young children and young mothers asking for money around this area. I’ve been to other cities in Colombia and this one was very problematic. You will most likely get scammed if you are not assertive and smart.

Beautiful hotel but noisy
Beautiful property and rooms! The only setback is that is located in a busy area at the walled city. We stayed just one night and we couldn’t sleep well because of the noise outside during the night.

The noise was terrible due to our room being in the front. Then one day coming in from being out they stopped me needing a piece of furniture from our room. Inconvenience due to having to pack up what we had on it. No compensation for the inconvenience

Had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Casona Del Colegio. The location is fantastic and service excellent. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. The breakfast is very plentiful - it just kept coming! We would absolutely stay at this wonderful hotel again.

Cartagena Sweet Spot
Beautiful hotel smack dab in the center of vivacious Cartagena. This hotel is gorgeous. A real mixture of hip new style infuse a centuries old building. Great service. Great drinks at their bar. Great location. Being centrally located was terrific. If you’re adverse to late night sounds (nightlife) this could be a concern, but I’d think that is true anywhere in the historic center.

We loved everything. Our room was amazing and the attention was from another planet. We loved everything. The only thing we didn’t like is that it’s a Main Street so during the night it’s a little noisy. But the sound proof windows reduce the noise a lot

Loved the hotel!! It’s so clean, calmed colors, amazing details and the staff was out of this world!! Everyone was so nice and friendly. We got a welcome drink, help with umbrellas, services, carrying and storing stuff. They made you feel so special. The manager, Sheik, was really nice and followed up on everything we needed. We are staying here next time!

After staying in a lower-budget hotel in Bocagrande for 4 nights I decided to treat myself to a night in Walled City before my very long flight home back to the States. I am so glad I did! From booking the room until my departure, everything about my stay was amazing. The sound proof room provided a peaceful rest and the decor was amazing. My only regret is not staying here for the duration of my trip. Thank you for an amazing experience! Highly recommended!!!

Hotel Casona de Colegio was absolutely amazing from the beginning to the end of our trip! The hotel was beautiful, our room was very spacious & clean. With a beautiful balcony, all the employees were super sweet & helpful. I want to especially thank Andres for going above & beyond. I would definitely stay here again, already cannot wait to go back.

This hotel was so much more progressive than I thought it would be. The staff was absolutely amazing. They helped coordinate taxis, gave recommendations for restaurants, provided great food services, and they even arranged a for a covid test to be done at the hotel for me. They all learned my name by the end of my stay and were super friendly and kind. The hotel is also in a great location with an ATM just around the corner, lots of shopping and restaurants right in the middle of the walled city. I would definitely stay here again if I went back to Cartagena!

No encuentro el calificativo adecuado para describir el nivel de atención y servicio del hotel Casona del Colegio, sencillamente espectacular. Pick a different location next time
Generally very nice place and staff very very nice. However the water supply went out a few time and the hot water went out often. At night we got harassed right on the front door step of the hotel by people hawking things, including girls. I’ve been here before but this was worse, probably due to COVID poverty.

Convenient location, staff promptly greeted me at the door upon arrival, walked me to the room and explained everything about the property and amenities. Rooms are super cool and modern, housekeeping does a great job of keeping everything clean. Breakfast was very good also, and was included in the room rate. Staff was helpful making recommendations on places to visit and restaurants in the City.

Best the walked city has to offer!!
The hotel is beautiful and in an extremely central part of the walled city. The hotel is dog friendly. The beds were amazing and the linens were superior. The rooms and bathrooms were beautifully appointed. Food in the restaurant was spectacular. The service was better than any 5 star hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff takes time to learn your name and preferences. We can’t wait to come back. We suggest you do the same.
