This is my 2nd time staying at Stanford Hotel. This time around I stayed in a superior double room with my partner for 13 nights. The room was decent in size and spacious enough to have 2 large checked-in luggages and 1 medium luggage laid out and open at the same time. We had a total of 4 luggages and 2 backpacks. The hotel is very clean and well kept. Housekeeping is offered daily and they were exceptionally friendly, always greeting us and asking if we needed additional water bottles or anything else. I love that there is a filtered ice/water dispenser (hot and cold) stationed in each floor near the elevators. There is a microwave available to hotel guests located at the lobby and coin laundry on the 10th floor. Stanford Hotel is centrally located in Myeongdong near everything and anything. It is between two subway stations (Euljiro 1-green line and Myeongdong Station-blue line) which makes it easy traveling to other districts. It’s walking distance to the airport limousine bus stop (and lots of other bus stops locals used daily), to a lot of eateries/restaurants, convenience stores (CU and 7eleven), the Myeongdong night market, and lots of shopping centers. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Myeongdong or even Seoul in general.

Our stay here was lovely. Our first time in S. Korea and glad we chose this hotel. It made our stay very comfortable and memorable. Staffs are always ready to help both in person and via email. Easy access to and from airport. Airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. Korean Folk Village stops right in front of the hotel. The Myeongdong Street Market is also right in front of it. Lot of restaurants and lot of attraction in walking distance. You can't ask for a better location. Was traveling with a family of 4 and the room was a good size. Had 3 chairs, one big table and one side table. Hotel has 24 hr. coin laundry service. We definitely would stay here again if we go back to S. Korea.
