"We picked this property for a weeks stay at short notice and we couldn't have been more happy about it. "The staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful. The only thing we did not like was the cost of the transfer from the airport to the property. If you stay at the property they should provide the transfers. Also, we did not like how when we arrived they tried to get us to go and listen about a timeshare to get deals for things on the resort. Lastly, the mosquitos were extremely bad! Other than that the resort was gorgeous, clean, quiet, and relaxing. The food was good and Arturo was amazing!"

Photos are accurate. Good location. Wonderful resturant. I had the pleasure of staying in 2 different rooms with plunge pools and a 1 bdr apt with plunge pool. Wow. Huge pool, priviate sun deck big enough to hold a 10 person party. Beautifully decorated. Large 2nd terrace, full large kitchen. Front desk staff - professional, polite, helpfull to a solo older lady traveler. Johnny was most kind. I'd return."

"This is a very unique place to stay. We had a room with a pool, it was very nice. It kept raining, and the roof leaks, not good. Hotel food is quite expensive, and not close to anything else to walk to, which would be my main dislike, however the staff was wonderful and helpful with recommendations for places to eat and drink. They did a great job of responding though WhatsApp when I had a question and hooked us up with a great taxi driver. If you want something a little more rustic this place is perfect."

"Overall, the property was good, and the rooms surrounded by the jungle were amazing. I did notice a few things that could be improved. In the restroom, there were small insects that looked like roaches hiding between the tiles. There were also many mosquitoes and other insects around the paths to the rooms, and we were bitten by something other than mosquitoes. I understand that insects are part of the local environment, but better pest control and attention to the walkways would make getting to the rooms more comfortable. The food was okay, but the buffet options were limited and seemed to repeat in different locations each day. Only a few dishes had much flavor. Also, only one pool was open during our stay because the other was under construction. I’d be interested in returning once the second pool is repaired and giving the property another try."

En general, tuvimos una buena experiencia y el personal fue amable durante nuestra estadía. Sin embargo, considero que el desayuno tiene varios aspectos por mejorar. Me sorprendió que faltaran cosas tan básicas como la mantequilla (butter), además de que había poca variedad en la preparación de los huevos y en las opciones disponibles. Creo que un hotel tan bonito debería ofrecer un desayuno más completo, variado y cuidado en los pequeños detalles, ya que estos marcan la diferencia en la experiencia de los huéspedes. En general, fue una buena estadía, pero definitivamente hay oportunidades de mejora, especialmente en el servicio de desayuno."
