"Camerino is closed completely because of the earthquake and will not be reopened in the near future. The hotel is first rate and in a beautiful setting but not really convenient for tourism on the doorstep. However, if you want a wedding or a small conference, it would be terrific. "Very nicely restored palazzo, with an interesting mix of new and well preserved old facilities. Our room was large and comfortable. The bath tub/shower was high and a bit difficult to get in and out of—badly needs a grab bar for safe access. Breakfast was ample and diverse enough to accommodate all tastes. Staff very accommodating. Narrow streets, many of which were further limited by ongoing construction projects, made parking virtually impossible and each time we took the car for visits...

"Our stay at Borgo della Marmotta was amazing. The staff across the hotel were incredibly welcoming and friendly, the food was excellent and affordable, and the property and rooms were tastefully decorated and kept spotless. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Renting a car is highly advisable, as transport links are poor and hard to navigate. "
