"Great little hotel with 8 small flats. On the second floor of a larger building. One block from the promenade/beach area. Really enjoyed our stay! Only things we did not enjoy was the noise from folks on the floor above us, and from other guests in the hotel very late into the evening a couple of nights. Neither of these issues were the fault of the hotel. Would recommend for a great, less expensive option when staying in Nice!"

"The apartment is ideally located, with shops and restaurants within easy reach. The promenade du Anglais is minutes away, as well as local transportation, with the tram stop 2 blocks away. "We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Excelsior!! The hotel was very close to the train station and the staff were especially welcoming and friendly!! The room was beautifully maintained and clean, and we even had a small balcony that allowed us to enjoy the warm air of the French Riviera!!"

"Could do with a deeper clean in the actual rooms, some mould and dust near the fan inbuilt and also the bathroom feeling and showers, room (at least the standard one) was quite small however very well decorated, and cleaners visited every day to reset room and towels ect. Staff were friendly and welcoming enough, there was 2 evenings with music but it stopped after 11:30pm so not too much bother. Perfect location to the old town and beach!"
