"We stayed here before starting our hike on the Camino de Santiago and it was right on the route, which is great as it minimized walking besides the hiking we were doing. It had a restaurant there, with others nearby. The accommodation was typical of the places we stayed during our hike. The staff was very helpful and friendly, which was nice since we arrived tired from an overnight flight and a train trip. It wasn't luxurious, but was a decent place to stay right in the old part of Sarria."

"We had a very nice visit with fabulous service. The room was beautiful and the staff were very helpful. We didn’t realize that the restaurant is only open a few days a week, we were on foot and they helped us call out for pizza. "this was a repeat visit after a 10 year gap. Little seems to have changed in that time. Although mainly a golf hotel, its a bit disappointing that the hotel doesn't try to cater for non golfers. For example there is plenty of room for tennis courts and a children's play area. Restaurant/bar staff always seemed too busy to provide the level of service you would expect for a 4* hotel"

Good hotel but poor location.
"The Hotel is clean comfortable and the staff helpful. The Bar us only open for 4 hours in the evening. There is no restaurant and Bar food choice was very uninspiring. The Hotel is located in the outskirts of town with very limited choice of restaurants in the vicinity. The pool looked as if had been empty for a long while. It really seems to be targeting the commercial market not leisure travellers. "
