Really good stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We were given a lovely large room that was cool in the city’s heat. The location of the hotel is perfect. Lots of lovely and good bars and restaurants in this area. Be warned the mosquitos move into the city in July and August, specifically near the canal. The hotel was undergoing some works when we where there so I am sure what was already very good, is about to be even better. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Funicolare. We stayed in a family room, which was absolutely massive, with plenty of space for all of us and a very comfortable stay. The views were amazing and really added to the experience. We also had dinner at the hotel one evening and breakfast during our stay. ..."

"If you want a good nights sleep don’t stay here. Although convenient . I could hear the plains roaring engines all night long. Terrible buffet of cold food that should have been hot. A true disappointment. Marriott should be ashamed of themselves."
