"By far our favorite place we have ever stayed! The cottages are adorable and very clean. The horses were playful and friendly and the views were so great from our rooms. The staff went above and beyond for us. We had to leave early one morning and couldn’t make breakfast and the staff went out of their way and made us to go bags of breakfast! They made plenty and gave us extra snacks and a sweet note to enjoy our day! Top notch!"

"This was a great value and a great place to start our Iceland adventure. The friendly staff greeted us with lots of information and a smile. We arrived early (late morning) after a red eye flight and the staff helped us find a place to eat and worked on getting us into our room as soon as possible. Room was basic but clean and in great condition. We had private bath and everything worked well. The area in front of hotel is a little industrial but there is an adorable horse farm behind the property and this is what you see from the room and from the hotel restaurant and terrace. The on site restaurant and bar had great food and service and made our first day very easy. They also have a nice breakfast buffet in the morning for a charge. If you have time to shop, there is a grocery store walking distance and communal kitchen facilities (at least for storage of food). Not sure about cooking. We had a car and did our own thing but it also appeared possible to book tours and activities through the hotel. "

The instructions are presented in a beautifully designed booklet that was clear and complete. All the amenities were stocked and high quality. I wish every place I stayed could be this perfect! "This hotel was an incredible experience. We got to know the owner/manager very well, he’s a very kind man! The hotel staff was lovely and fun! The breakfast buffet was wonderful and the dinner food fantastic. My room was #40 and I loved it and my Terrace, so charming. Amenities were terrific too! One suggestion only: perhaps there could be more hot tubs available. There are too few for the amount of rooms and we came during a busy summer season. We had to wait for people to leave the one by me was often used. Thank you for a wonderful stay!! I will be back."
