"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Staff is super friendly, the breakfast was scrumptious, my room was really cozy, comfy and clean and the location was perfect for popping out and walking around town. Loved it!"

"Staff does not have their act together. Was given the wrong code to check in and since I arrived late I had to track someone down to help. This took far too long for a tired traveler. Finally got in my room and there were no pillows or towels. Was given codes to check in other rooms that weee vacant but no pillows or towels there either."

"This guesthouse is an absolute gem. The house itself is on one level, with a gravel driveway (plenty of parking) and a short walk to the front door. The floors inside are smooth and lintels between rooms are minimal. There are no stairs. The house has a large common area with tables, sofas, and a fridge with space for each guest. There is a well appointed small kitchen with an oven and stovetop and plenty of pots, pans, and utensils. There are some board games and plenty of space to play. We chatted with other guests in the common area, it was just a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Decor is clean and modern, with a relaxed vibe. The scenery is gorgeous. The area is quiet. The room itself had a comfortable bed with good linens. The bathroom shower has no barrier on the floor so you could potentially roll in if needed. Hosts are friendly. In the morning they serve waffles! There is coffee and tea available as well. I wish the proprietors every success in the world, they have created a truly special place."

"A very pleasant stay. Check-in done by Ola who was very kind & helpful lending us plug adapters for our stay. Room was large, quiet and a nice bathroom. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety for us vegetarians. Restaurant staff were friendly. I would certainly stay here again and will recommend it to our friends who will be visiting soon."

"This was a wonderful home base for us for a few nights as we explored the South Coast and Golden Circle. Now I'm dreaming of coming back for the Northern Lights. The Hotel was lovely - we stayed in the rooms (not one of the cabins). They were simple and had everything we needed. We had breakfast both mornings of our stay - it was delicious. And dinner one evening - and learned we needed to book that ahead so they knew their headcount for the evening meal. The property was gorgeous - we made friends with an Icelandic horse as we strolled behind the restaurant."
