"A beautiful string amidst the vineyards with a good view of the cliffs across the Interstate. But thankfully far enough from the highway that traffic noise was not an issue. The breakfast was excellent. And so was the restaurant for dinner."

"What a wonderful and memorable gem!! The Hosts are wonderful, talented and interesting people who added so much to the stay at their beautiful property. The location a few miles outside Cedar Edge was so serene and gorgeous with views of two mountain ranges and a lovely garden. The home is archtecturally beautiful and my room was completely comfortable and delightfully furnished. The private patio was so relaxing and a great place for both dinner (which I brought with me), and the delicious, gourmet breakfast the next morning. I enjoyed my conversation with both hosts, and highly recommend Maison de Terre. They also serve, and sell, their delicious drinking chocolate, so don't miss that! I've enjoyed it in a variety of ways after returning home!!"

"Pros: Enjoyed a cocktail at the reception desk, a really nice experience after a long drive. Nice location, easy walking distance to town. Good Mexican food at Felix’s. Mattress, towels, linens, soap, shampoo etc all high-quality. Great light but satisfying breakfast: yogurt parfait, good coffee. Cons: Receptionist was efficient though not terribly friendly. Air conditioner was noisy enough that it affected our sleep. It’s something I mentioned to the owners via a text that they never responded to (maybe it’s a non-monitored account). Location next to busy Rt 70 may be a problem for some but the outside noise level was tolerable."

"This boutique motel is the perfect place to plan your visit to Palisade around. The hosts are great. The rooms are fresh and spotless. The backside of the property gives you great views and added space to sit out and enjoy a coffee in the morning or an end of day beverage. There’s nothing I would change. This was my second stay here and it will not be my last."
