Hotel Riu Santa Fe - All Inclusive

"Quiero destacar muchas cosas excelentes. La comida fue deliciosa, el personal brindó un servicio excelente y el concepto del hotel me encantó. Las fiestas fueron súper buenas y el ambiente muy acogedor. Las habitaciones eran cómodas y se limpiaban diariamente. La vista hacia los arcos es preciosa, y disfruté especialmente las piscinas con barra. Durante las noches, los huéspedes se reunían en la placita y algunas veces había espectáculos, lo cual creaba un ambiente muy agradable y entretenido. También realicé excursiones privadas y disfruté mucho la experiencia. La verdad es que el hotel me encantó y tiene muchísimo potencial. Si mejoran la carretera de acceso, la apariencia de la entrada, el mantenimiento de las piscinas y, especialmente, solucionan el problema del olor a aguaEn general, mi experiencia en el hotel fue muy buena, aunque hay algunos aspectos importantes que deberían mejorar. La carretera de acceso se encontraba en muy mal estado y la entrada del hotel no me pareció bonita ni causó una buena primera impresión. El mayor inconveniente fue el fuerte olor a aguas negras que llegaba hasta mi habitación y que también se percibía en algunas áreas comunes. Para mí, este olor fue muy desagradable y afectó bastante mi estadía. Aunque las piscinas se veían muy limpias y cristalinas, al entrar al agua sentía la piel pegajosa y el piso un poco pegajo, por lo que considero que deberían revisar con más cuidado el mantenimiento y el tratamiento del agua."

"Front desk is having hard time understanding english language, hard to communicate Concierge selling vacation club that consumes my time, it took me 2.5 hrs to listen to their presentation instead of me enjoying the beach They also call us early in the morning to receive the welcome package we just arrived and need more rest, they called us 3x around 8-9am, we dont appreciate it Food in buffet is always the same,"

"The resort is perfect for families! We unfortunately were hoping for more adult separation since we did not have children. Having only 1 large pool didn’t really give a relaxing feeling with kids around and parents not really parenting. If you plan to travel kid free I would pick another location. Traveling with kids perfect spot! The sports and entertainment team was fantastic great shows. Christian and his team were fantastic and I really wished that energy continued later! The whole resort closes at 11 (too early for an all inclusive resort based off of our experiences at other resorts) and after 9:30 not much to do. Live singers were good but wish there were more after 9. Like dance club or something in the main ballroom a few days a week. The resort was very clean and food was fantastic. I would stay here again if I had children with me or traveled with friends or family who had children."

"Pros: *Martin @ the Mexican restaurant!!!!! *Pool bar staff kept my cup filled *Friendly staff throughout resort *Delicious food *Excellent security at the entrance of the property Cons: *You will get bombarded to be part of a "90-minute sales presentation" at one of their neighboring resorts in exchange for breakfast and a massage or a swim with dolphins. The 90-minute presentation is for a timeshare and lasted three hours (not 90 minutes), where we had to tell three different sales people that we were not interested over the course of the three hours. And when we booked our swim with the dolphins, it ended up not being free (we were given a voucher to use towards the excursion). Don't fall for the scam! *The swim-up bar at the main pool was closed for my entire 6 day/5 night stay and was kind of an "eye sore." *The Mediterranean restaurant was closed for my entire stay. *For an "adults-only" resort, I was hoping for more activities later in the evening. The nights seemed to end early, including the bars. *The check-in and check-out process is extremely time-consuming. Allow yourself plenty of time on your last day to check out before your airport transportation arrives. You will not be able to leave the property without a checkout ticket from the front desk. *The main restaurants that are only open for dinner do not accept reservations; they operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you do not arrive between 6:00-7:00 PM, plan on waiting awhile to get seated."
