"Perfect 20th anniversary stay Celebrated our 20th anniversary at Riu Palace and it exceeded expectations. The Elite Club upgrade is absolutely worth it and gave us access to every specialty restaurant at no extra charge plus the Elite-only restaurant, lounge, and concierge service. Our ocean front junior suite was spotless with a stunning view. Yu Hi (Japanese) for our anniversary dinner was genuinely impressive. The couples spa package was a trip highlight. Grounds, service, and food consistency were all top tier. Would book again without hesitation."

"Highly recommended - stayed in one of the rooms with your own walk up pool, your are close to all the action but still have your privacy, and you can still request drinks from the helpful staff. I would recommend to get the rooms over looking the activity pool so you can see all the activities. Plenty of food, dessert and drink options. This hotel is about 35 min walk to the marina on the beach. I would recommend using the beach vendors after some vetting for your jet-ski, boat ride to the arch, snorkeling needs, you get better pricing with some haggling. Overall highly recommended"

"O hotel é ótimo, próximo a Quinta Avenida onde há grande comércio, ao Walmart e rodoviária. O quarto é grande e confortável, os funcionários são gentis, com um sorriso no rosto para lhe atender, dispostos a ajudar. A área de lazer é muito boa, com atividades diversas e recreação. Café da manhã com muitas opções. Tem uma cafeteria bem gostosa que fica aberta até as 23 horas. Porém, Praia del Carmen não tem mar azul"
