"We stayed here recently and found it convenient to the airport, with friendly staff who seemed to do their best to help. Breakfast was good, and the rooms had nice balconies. However, there were some issues during our stay. The hot water wasn’t working at first, though the staff did try to fix it. One of our balcony doors was broken, and there weren’t enough sleeping arrangements for our family. We paid $25 for an extra bed, but it turned out to be a cot for one child, while our other child had...

"We love this hotel, and stay here often. Praga is very flexible with check in and check out times, which is very helpful when navigating the late night and early morning flight arrivals amd departures. Their breakfast is always perfect. Staff are top notch."

"The room was neat and clean, and we appreciated the very nice towels and linens. We also really liked it. There were fresh water stations on every floor. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. A small café downstairs a very good latte!"

"We had a very short stay, arriving in Tashkent at 1am in the morning, and leaving at 7:15 am for an early flight back to the US. They have 24 hour reception and check in was easy--it is close to the airport which allowed an extra 1.5 hrs of sleep--very welcome! Our room was actually a suite, and I'm only sorry we were there so brieftly."

"Hotel Uzbekistan may need a little TLC to bring it back to its original grandeur, but as it is we have no complains at all. Location is central and easy accessible from TAS airport, the Amir Temur metro station is right downstairs and it was very convenient for getting around the city. We were on the 15th floor and the room was absolutely quiet at night. The 4 roomy elevators worked fine. We had a small balcony and the room itself was larger than your average modern hotel room. The King size bed was a bit firm but comfy and the black out drapes were nice too. There was a sitting area by the entrance of the room with 2 arm chairs, a table and a lamp. Also a desk with a chair, a mini fridge with water bottles provided every day. There was also an electric kettle, cups and tea bags. There was plenty of storage, a big wardrobe and a chest drawer. Housekeeping cleaned the room everyday quickly and we would find it tidied up when we were back mid afternoon. Toiletries and slippers were provided. The buffet breakfast was varied, delicious and plentiful. My vegetarian husband had many options to choose from every morning. The bar had good service and a variety of drinks at fair prices. It was very pleasant to stop by for a cold beer after doing walking tours all day. All in all, we were very happy with our stay at hotel Uzbekistan, the staff was helpful, friendly and polite. Everyone spoke really good English. We would definitely stay there again."
