"Excellent hotel in the heart of the historic district. Clean, large room with high ceilings and a standalone bath. Reception helpful and polite. Felt safe in this area, and could walk to Palace Bella Artes and park in 5 minutes; Zocalo in 10 minutes. Opera bar two doors down great for drinks, Esperanza around corner for coffee and cakes, and lovely restaurants nearby."

"I am not person who posts reviews, however How is this hotel ranked as wonderful? My room was poor cleaned including blood drops splashed on walls and a cabinet. I requested change of room since it was late night in the middle of Mexico City then I could not cancel it … we had issues in the restaurant as well with a not good tasting Burguer, answer from the chef was all meats are frozen. Not good place to be recommended."

"Mostly everything was excellent. The only dislike was check-in was at 3 o'clock, I arrived at 3:30 and still had to wait 15 minutes while the staff checked to see if the room was ready "
