"Everything was great! AC worked well, the staff was helpful and pleasant. The free breakfast was excellent, hot cooked every morning, about 1/4-1/2 mile walk to the beach, lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The pool area was beautiful. They also had a security guard out at night. Pet friendly hotel too. "

"Beautiful resort. We were able to see lots of wildlife there including monkeys, skoths, iguanas, snakes, frogs, owls, and even a honey bear. Great pools. My son loved the game room and my little one enjoyed playing with toys in the playroom. Staff is very friendly."

"The property at GAIA hotel was truly a tropical paradise nestled in the rainforest. The views are amazing, the spa relaxing and the rooms were spaced to allow privacy and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff at GAIA is what made our time in Costa Rica a bespoke experience which was so memorable. The onsite restaurant, La Luna, offered delicious meals and the wait staff were very personable and professional. The Scarlet Macaw rehabilitation facility based on the property is another example of how the owner and team at GAIA care deeply about the environment and culture of Costa Rica. "Beware that this is 4.5 hours away from the San Jose Airport! They do NOT inform anyone of this and you need to get to the Ferry to cross over to Tambor which is not 24/7 You need to plan very carefully so you don't lose a day like I did and so many others did that I met at the Hotel. They are also very aware of this and have done nothing about it!! The buffet food is ok. Not the best, but not the worst. You will find something. The Italian ala carte restaurant is excellent! Alsoif you don't speak Spanish, you will be disappointed during the nightly show as they only speak spanish :( The actual entertainment is great though. The funny parts inbetween though, all in spanish so you will be at a loss at what everyone is laughing about"
