"A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. Woke up to birdsong and quiet , and a great breakfast in their large conservatory. Service excellent and helpful. "Incredible setting in the Abbey hermitage. The hotel reservation includes free and unrestricted access to the Abbey and its museums. Unique. "

"We were on a cycling trip. Check in was easy and the staff very helpful in locking away our bikes in a secure location. The beds were very comfortable and showers hot! Breakfast was standard continental with plenty of food available. Located a little out of town centre and surprisingly quiet. The rooms are in need of some minor maintenance but comfortable."

"Lovely hotel in a great location for visiting the Abbey, exploring the Loire valley, wine tasting, or simply breaking up a long journey. The restaurant is excellent, although the breakfast looked underwhelming. The pool and parking are a great asset. Our second stay and we will return."
