Great hotel - too rowdy on a saturday night

Great staff and nice hotel. Would definitely stay there again. Experience tarnished a little bit by the noisy radiators in the adjacent room and some rowdy punters from 0300 0430.

Property location is perfect. Hotel staff very nice just wish that breakfast was a bit nicer so that we could eat at the hotel but there are café all around that you can just walk within a few minutes.

My friend and h stayed here for a long weekend, the staff were really friendly and the rooms were cleaned daily. They gave a nice bar area where you can have a coffee or some wine! Overall we had the best stay and highly recommend

The staff here were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location and close to many shops and restaurants. The lobby and room were clean and had everything that we needed. I'd definitely stay here again in the future given the staff, location and the price.

La Verticale is an excellent small hotel right off the main shopping street in Chamonix. It is recently renovated and everything is new and sparking. The English speaking front desk staff were very helpful. Great breakfast - not included.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It doesn’t look like much from the outside (the front yard could do with some beautification) but really nice rooms with amazing views. One of the receptionists, Michel, was very kind and helpful. It would have been nice to have teas and coffees in the room but otherwise, great hotel.

Ideal for our short ski break. Lovely little hotel one minute walk from the main bars and restaurants and three minute walk to the ski-bus stop to reach all the mountains. We has three lovely women who greeted us on Saturday morning, as we arrived late (door code and keys provided) and didn’t see anyone at check-in, they couldn’t have been more helpful. They organised our ski passes so we could collect our ski hire and not waste time queuing for passes, along with helping in several other small areas. Would definitely stay here again, if only for location and the wonderful staff.

Rooms clean and cute, but no AC or even a fan. Very hot and our room was on the ground floor so having the window open people walking outside could literally reach into our room. Also very loud outside. Great service at front desk
