"Our family of 4 loved our stay in the quaint Les Balcons du Savoy! Staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The view of the surrounding Alps is spectacular! The property is an easy walk to the main street of Chamonix (lots of restaurants and shopping) as well as a short bus ride to the gondola for skiing. Thank you for a fabulous stay!"

"The hotel was ok and fine for 1 night, we wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer. It was a bit grubby in places and the bathrooms would have benefited from some mould spray. We had a dreadful nights sleep, the mattress was so thin, there were no spare pillows. Also the room was incredibly hot and as we were on the ground floor we couldn’t leave the patio doors open, for safety, and there were no windows to open. The electricity went off during the night when our youngest went to the toilet. ...

"Great location and very well equipped apartment, always warm and lots of hot water. Good ski boot room and storage. Small but perfectly formed. However there was someone else’s facecloth in the bathroom when we arrived. Also, after stripping the beds at the end of the stay (as requested) the blue mattress cover under our sheets was quite stained & it wasn’t from us."

"I didn't like the fact that check-in starts late at 5 pm, and check-out is early at 10 am. Also, the photos do not correspond to reality. One gets the impression that bunk beds are a separate room...but this is not so and they are located right next to the bathroom...it would be some inconvenience if we rested in 4. In general, our apartments were clean. But there was mold in the bathroom. All these inconveniences were compensated by the distance to the bus station and the wonderful view from...

"it was not clean when we received it. there was no wifi anywhere in the hotel, the pool was not working. there were no lights or fire or warm feelings in the lobby. overall it was fine but i was not up to our expectations."
