"The hotel is a grand old lady, with hard working staff. All hotel area's clean, Staff went out of their way to help guests enjoy their stay, even the Chef went the extra mile for us. Friendliest hotel Iv stayed in for ages, bar man put quizzes on the bar TV for guests in the evening, No one was a stranger. Rooms had heating, that you could adjust yourself. Shower was a bit dodgy, but worked. Breakfast is complimentary & buffet style. Plenty of parking, even for EVs. I would return if I was in the area. "

"This hotel was brilliant. Great by a very friendly member of staff and swiftly shown to our room. The room was spacious, fresh and very clean. The bed was large and very comfortable. Was nice to have two arm chairs and vanity to sit and get ready at. The area was lovely and quite and only a short walk to town. Brilliant stay, would stay again and highly recommend! "

"The cabin was amazing, so much nicer than we’d expected for the price. It had everything we needed, even a hairdryer & iron. Will definitely stay in one again. The Leisure facilities were great too, though the outdoor hot tub was not available which was a shame. "
