"My experience at this Holiday Inn wasn't excellent. First, the pluses: the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the wifi was decent. But the list of demerits is longer: the refrigerator doesn't have any freezer section at all; the toilet seat was loose and swiveled around one bolt; I had 3 hand towels but 0 bath towels (the desk provided on upon request, though the woman literally looked at my room to see how many guests were in it instead of just asking how many I would like); and the accessible shower was a joke. I don't need an accessible shower, but this thing was equally useless (and flooded the bathroom) whether you did or did not need that feature.
But these things pale next to the parking mess. The attached lot is far too small for the hotel. The backup plan is to send guests to top floor of the parking garage across the street and have the hotel validate your ticket. I lucked into a spot in the attached lot, so I just let my car sit for 2 days and found other ways around Charleston. But I won't be staying here again."
