"Excellent location. The entry of the hotel is weird. One has to go through the bar and a couple of tiny doors. The corridors are dingy and narrow but the rooms are nice. Clean and spacious."

"What a wonderful property. The grounds were exceptional and we loved the views to the river and quick walk to the village. Such a great base to visit several “Less Plus Beaux Villages”. Our hosts were so lovely and accommodating and we sincerely appreciated meeting other guests at an aperitif party. Highly recommended for a romantic stay for a couple or a large family reunion. "

"A lovely family run hotel with attention to detail and great service. Great location, with a super pool (great for kids). Beautiful views across the hillsides. Breakfast was delicious and very fresh. Friday night BBQ and live music was a lovely experience. We visited a local Thai restaurant on Friday evening, as recommended by the hotel - they weren’t wrong. It was really tasty and the service excellent. All in all would highly recommend and would love to return to Hotel L’Abbaye!"

"Incredible hotel. This hotel has been recently renovated to a very high standard, especially the Maraval Suite which is perfect for families. The staff at the hotel, especially Laurie, are very helpful. The swimming pool is heated and perfect for both relaxing and swimming lengths. The spa area is very nice too. The surroundings are very peaceful and we loved our time at Maraval. Great location close to La Roque Gageac, Beynac-et-Cazenac and more. Recommend the Pito bakery in Cénac for...
