"A beautiful boutique style hotel with an exceptional restaurant"

"The hotel is centrally located inside the old city walls. You can walk to all of the major historical monuments. The breakfast was great - Continental but good value and tasty. The restaurant right next door was good. We greatly enjoyed a dinner at La Tertre (you will need a reservation)"

"One of the best boutiques hotels I have stayed in my life. The location is perfect just outside a winery. Astonish views. Beautiful pool. Amazing staff!! Walking 2 min to St Emillion old city!!! Perfect"

"Fantastic long weekend in Saint Emilion! Our host Michel was wonderful, super helpful and friendly throughout our stay at 537. Very communicative offering lots of advice on the local area and any questions we had were answered quickly and clearly. "Lovely hosts with great local recommendations. Went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed . Spent a full day relaxing by the pool during a heat wave. Easy access to St Emilion. Comes with a bonus friendly fat chateau cat on the grounds."

"Couldn't be better"

"Dominique and Laura are wonderful hosts. We travel extensively, and this was one of our favorite places to stay! The location is peaceful and serene. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a highlight of the stay . . . delicious and homemade. The home is about 15 minutes from Saint Emilion and near several wineries. I highly recommend staying with Dominique and Laura!"

"It was an absolute delight to stay with Nathalie and Olivier who have lovingly restored the Chateau. They were charming hosts and made the stay one to remember. The renovation of the chateau provides a modern and spacious room that has also retained the charm of the old building. The meals were delightful and prepared by the hosts using fresh local produce. I'd thoroughly recommend Malis Castera to anyone wanting to stay in the wine region."

"We stayed 1 night. The hotel is clean, quiet and beautifully decorated. The staff were helpful. You can park in front of the hotel for a fee. The breakfast was ok, too heavily on the carbs/sweets."

"Very friendly staff, very clean room, perfect location"

"Staff were friendly and helpful. The coffee machine in the kitchen for breakfast was not working well, but other than getting a good cup of coffee, everything was fantastic! Room was beautiful, and the winery tour was also really nice. Highly recommend!"

"We stayed for 6 nights and staying here was an excellent choice. The room was clean and comfortable. There is 24 hour access to the hot tub and sauna area. There is 24 hour access to the breakfast area where you have access to fridge space if you need it. Wine is available for sale around the clock. The property is very peaceful and super quiet - about a 30 minute drive to both Bordeaux and St Emilion. Breakfast is provided each morning with a nice selection of items and access to great...
